I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience at La Belle Bridal was so perfect that I had to this time. Let me start off by saying that I am a very VERY anxious and self conscious person, and that’s putting it lightly. Needless to say, trying on clothes in front of people, let alone wedding dresses, is something that is definitely not in my comfort zone. When my 3 guests and I walked in for my appt. we were immediately greeted with a smile and a comforting atmosphere. Katie had my guests and I pick out a few dresses and then also picked out a few that she thought might work with the look I was going for. At one point I was feeling a little overwhelmed, but Katie was so kind and understanding and really helped me to feel a sense of ease. Trying on dresses, she let me go at my own pace and the whole time was always being very mindful of my party and keeping them comfortable as well. I maybe tried on 6 dresses all together and each time Katie helped me to envision what I wanted a little more and more. The last dress I tried on ended up being the one I said yes to and I can't wait to see it when it comes in in December. All of her dresses are really reasonably priced and the one I chose was a lot less than I had even allotted for myself. You can tell Katie’s loves what she does. There’s a lot of thought and patience that is evident not only in the store itself, but the entire atmosphere she creates for you on your appt. day. I’m so glad that I chose to go to La Belle Bridal for my wedding dress shopping experience. I recently visited La Belle Bridal Boutique with high expectations based on our initial booking, but the experience fell far short of what was promised. We were given only an hour to try on wedding and bridesmaids' dresses, despite being told during booking that we would have ample time to enjoy the process. This time constraint was particularly problematic as the boutique only has one dressing room, prioritizing the bride over the bridesmaids.

The staff member assisting us seemed intent on rushing through the process, giving the bridesmaid less than 15 minutes to try on dresses. This left little time for proper consideration and fitting. Additionally, there were supposed to be champagne and goodies provided, which were notably absent during our appointment. While not essential, these were expected based on what was promised. It was disheartening to see these refreshments offered to clients after us, reinforcing the sense that our business was not valued.

Overall, the bride managed to try on only 4 or 5 dresses, and the experience was far from enjoyable. The sales associate's constant pressure to quickly move to the next dress prevented any real appreciation of the options. We left feeling rushed, uncared for, and disappointed.

I so enjoyed my time with Katie, the shop owner. She is thoughtful, thorough, and great. I wish the seamstress had her own review page to leave a review, but since she is exclusive to the shop the review has to be made here and for that, I’m sorry Katie.

My shortcomings are with the seamstress, Arlete, who is exclusive to the shop. I was in tears leaving my first fitting after comments like “what will we do with this hideous tan, you really don’t have a chest” and so forth. Awful. I really should have taken my dress to another shop to be altered but couldn’t mentally handle it, or finding a new seamstress two months before the wedding. I got my dress and it seemed fine, but for the wedding it was hemmed too short, and clearly you can see my chest in various photos taken by our guests. Not to mention the hand loop broke within 30 mins of the reception and I had to carry my dress all night. I hope Katie seriously considers a new seamstress for the shop, I would’ve paid more for a better seamstress experience and for more expertise since I had to solely rely on Arlette’s experience for how the dress should fit since the dress was a surprise for everyone, including the...
