Soup-Herb Sproutz — Restaurant in Beaver

First time ordering here around 12:30. Really weird experience.

The place has a cool vibe, and the guy behind the counter was very friendly and provided helpful recommendations.

When I was done ordering, a lady came out from the back and started taking chicken off my bowl and putting it back.

I asked what was going on, and she told me the guy was new and laughed condescendingly.

I asked if she owned the place (she doesn’t), and I let her know that maybe next time you should just tell him in private and not do that in front of the customer (pretty rude to the coworker - I also think it’s weird to put food that’s touched other food back, but that’s a whole separate issue). She then just laughed at me as she rung me up.

Again, the guy was great, but that was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen in a quick serve restaurant. If I had even been told this was a double portion or something I would’ve gladly...

Stopped in tonight for the first time to get something healthy while picking up a pizza for my kids. The first thing that hit me was the smell of the chicken that they were cooking on the grill....it smelled so good! I really like the make your salad option. I was happy to see tear drop peppers as an option, I had never seen them before about a week ago when I got a salad at The Market District. Lots and lots of fresh veggies, including banana peppers! The chicken that I smelled upon entering was so flavorful that I didn't miss that I chose to forego the cheese and it wasn't as dry as paper like chicken breast can get. The tortilla chips I saw hanging around looked really good and I will have to try them the next...

I love Sproutz. My girl ambushed me one day and brought me here. I'm not generally big on salads as a meal but there is serious substance here in these dishes.

You can grab a chicken and hummus wrap, soup of the day or dig into one of their many unique salads. My personal favorite is the walk the wok salad. The menu is vegan/vegatarian friendly as you'd expect. Service is snappy and great.

There's inside as well as outside seating. Very spacious, nice natural lighting on the inside. Outside is personal preference as it is on the main Street and you'll be right next other people and those trying to park, and of course people walking dogs. Though that isn't always...
