While this place has it's share of downfalls, the cheap prices and surprisingly amazing food is a great reason to come back. Their burgers are phenomenal. Way better than a place like BJs or Red Robin. Their fries are freshly cut, and fried on the spot. Perfection. Their chili bowls are savory and delicious, and their chicken caesar salad holds no flavors back, with lots of quality shaved parmesan. To be honest I was expecting the worst food - but as soon as I smelled fresh fries and talked to a local who raved about his burger and the 50 cent wings, I knew I had to try their food out. The beer prices are cheap! Our group had 9 beers and 2 dinners, and our subtotal was only $38 - absolutely incredible, you can't get that ANYWHERE.
The drawbacks are these. The service was a bit slow - granted there was only one cook, and a bartender/server, who made light of the situation. There was also almost a fight. One guy had too much to drink, and thought it'd be fancy to be macho and challenge a buff guy. If you're looking to "pickup women," the ratio is about 5 to 7 men per single woman, so go somewhere else.
Lots of pool tables, apparently it's free on Thursdays. Jukebox friendly straight from your phone, and lots of Oregon Lottery games to play. Big Screen TV, lot of tables to sit and eat, overall a great place to grab drinks and burgers, and play some pool for an hour or two.
Also, if you're ordering a burger, order the Aloha Station Burger. There's a reason they call it by their name, it's one of the top 5 burgers I've had in my life. Perfect medium rare half inch chuck patty topped with a fried egg, swiss mushrooms, grilled onions, cheese on cheese on carefully chosen condiments, on a tasty and soft pub bun. So big they serve it to you with a steak knife through the middle. Comes with a heaping serving of freshly fried french fries and a quarter pickle, and a bottle of ketchup. Get outta here! Their food needs a restaurant! Kudos to the cook, and whomever came up with these recipes.

Read moreThe waitress was overworked and struggling to keep up with her workload. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was good, not great but good. My partner had the teriyaki rice bowl with chicken and vegetables since she likes to eat a little healthier. That was good except for the vegetable. It was served with a vegetable mix that contained corn, black beans, Bell peppers and onion. Hardly seemed appropriate to be served with teriyaki chicken and rice. I have a feeling it was actually what they'd top their nachos with? In addition I'm pretty certain we were overcharged on the final bill by about $3.00 but I didn't raise the issue over just three dollars. I think the overcharge was for a single beer that we never received. Tipped the waitress 20% of the tab total since it really wasn't her fault in being short staffed. We might make a return visit but not the first place that...
Read moreI LOVE Carrie and the chef Gelberto. The one star is for the OWNER of the bar, whom witch I hope sees this. You know that you require more staff CLEARLY. You're fully aware that your bathrooms need a remodeling. Yet you do not attend to these issues. Why???? I've seen reviews from years ago speaking of the same problems so why haven't you tried to fix them? You hold events but are not present for them. You're asked to keep score for games yet you're all over the place doing God knows what. Why can't you hold to your word and actually run this place the way you say you want to?? There is some sketchy things happening behind the scenes that you think we're blissfully unaware of. This place is a blast but always feeling like I'm going to get caught in the crossfire of a drug deal gone wrong. NEEDS NEW OWNER, KEEP CARRIE AND THE...
