Terrace Blooms — Local services in Bedford

I used terrace blooms on my wedding day. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and everything that I wanted as a bride. However, the customer service was less than ideal. They didn't communicate with me and my wedding coordinator until the day before the wedding. They originally told me they would put greenery on my tables at the reception once I put table runners down. The day before, they told my wedding coordinator that I need to pick up the buckets of greenery and do that part myself. I tried to reach out to them a month before my wedding and they said they would get with me closer to my wedding date. They never did. They were over two hours late the day of my wedding. My arbor wasn't up until 20 minutes before the ceremony start time. As a bride, I was a mess thinking that everything would not start on time due to the florist. They told me that they were not expecting the vases that I got for pampas grass would be so big, but they never gave me a specific size. They just told me to get vases for pampas grass, so I got the ones that I liked. I didn't love how they put blame on me. My mom's corsage was falling apart. The reliability of the florist caused a lot of anxiety for me on my wedding day, and I don't think that a bride should have to go...

Terrace Blooms. OH MY GOODNESS! Absolutely loved everything about Amanda, her family, and the upbringing for how her farm has blossomed into what it is today! My bridal party and I got the privilege of being the first to do a pick-your-own bouquet party for my wedding the next day which was hands down my favorite part of the whole weekend outside of saying “I Do!” We bonded, laughed, and learned so much from Amanda and her family for how to create a beautiful floral masterpiece. Nonetheless, the refreshments and peach pound cake were to dieeee for! My theme was country chic with a Hawaiian flare to incorporate how my now husband and I met! Sounds difficult, but with some Pinterest pictures and late nights at 1AM discussing the big details to the little details in what I wanted and hoped to have incorporated, Amanda made it happen and it was beautiful!! Couldn’t have imagined it being any other way or done by any other person. And I can’t wait to go back and do it again for birthdays and with family and friends! I cannot say enough good things about Terrace Blooms! I live in MD and wanted to send flowers to my sister who lives in Bedford,VA for her 60th birthday. I wanted to try a local shop. I am so glad I did!!! Amanda was so nice and so helpful. I told her my sister loves cats. She said she would do her best to incorporate something Cat related into the bouquet. I told her that my sister is wheelchair bound and has not been able to leave her house since the pandemic started. She guaranteed me that they would leave the flowers in a place where my sister did not have to lean over to get them. Amanda called me a little while after I ordered the flowers and told me about a cat towel that they had in their gift shop and she thought about my sister.
