The Bistro, so needed and has arrived. Details are everything! starting with the simplest of goals. The ground work to excellence is paying attention to details! First is the water!! I couldn't help to stare at the water container and the clarity and cleanliness of the exterior vessel which held that beautiful clean refreshing liquid. Quality filtered water deserves it's own place on the menu! Being greeted at the door and guided to a table with respect of where you'd like to sit is important. To have the owners Bill and Wendy take the time to visit and say Hi is high on my desire but not deserved list! To be made welcome as a friend is an open door to many visits. Timing is paramount!! from the greeting to the farewell and this restaurant had a blessing of attention, not intrusive but respectful. The clean refreshing ambience of music and un-cluttered restaurant with incredible sound fusing left a relaxing atmosphere. We were hungry and did not know what to expect, the menu was delightfully different to the run of the mill eat as you go menu's. We found our eyes conjuring each item selected as Starter lead to the Entree, it looked good to read and the surprise was that it tasted better than my palate had expected. We ate the chicken and pork and sampled each others plate while having a delightful conversation but yet mixed with joy of the taste buds! Dessert was special because the blending of taste wasn't shadowed by too sweet or too heavy, we could actually finish the bowl and not feel like we were set up for suicide. What we have been waiting for is here and judging by the hosts attention to detail and open mindedness to change I can easily see this high quality restaurant being one of the most popular in within a 100 miles. Nestled inside the former historical downtown Electric Company office building, Bill and is team have transformed this building into a welcoming gallery and now bistro! Art lovers can enjoy another local gallery with a wide range of media on display, while you enjoy a great lunch or dinner. Everything from oils, charcoal, metal work, stained glass, and textiles. Great place to spend an afternoon! Walk into an art gallery and be blown away by local artists. Take a few steps down into the Bistro and try delicious seasonal dishes that are yet another work of art! Friendly staff make you feel at home. Go downstairs for more local crafts in an incredible gift shop. Bought a few things for myself! You can walk around the whole place with an adult beverage in hand… Love everything...
