I remember the day i heard that someone was opening a yarn shop in Bedford. It was like a dream come true and I was so excited. The original site was small but very cozy, homey. The set up and variety of yarn and notions always enabled me to come away with new goodies. I absolutely love the new shop location which is more spacious, bright without losing it's original, homey, cozy atmosphere. Still the same, great variety of yarn and notions and add to that bags, embroidery, cross stitch , awesome shawl pins and lots of fun goodies. Erika is phenomenal. I went into Stitch Witch two years ago to see what it was all about. I was trying to make a sweater and I was in tears because I couldn’t figure it out. Erika sat with me patiently as I frogged the sweater and started over. Then I completed the sweater went to put it on and the two of us could’ve worn it once again she sat with me patiently as I frogged out the whole sweater. Finally, the third time was the charm and the sweater turned out. Since then, I’ve taken many classes at the Stitch Witch I now enjoy knitting multiple types of sweaters, and projects. I adore this shop! I’ve been crocheting for 12 years and I started knitting this year. I have tried a few different needle brands out there now I only get my needles from here. Highly recommend the zing ones. The yarn selection is lovely. There’s always unique colors and textures. They also carry a few big name brands like lion brand. I like just walking around and looking at what’s new. Some yarns are expensive, but that’s the life of hand dyed, luxury yarns. And there are some very affordable, high quality yarns too.
