Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in Bedford

Re: returned my lost cash in the store (Andy and Jesse.) When I shopped at Ollie's I paid cash for my items, but did not notice that I dropped an envelope with $400.00 inside. Later at home, I thought my money was lost forever. But 2 days later, my cell phone rang, and it said Ollie's on the caller ID....I thought that is weird getting a phone call from the store?? The caller identified himself and asked me a few questions about when I had shopped there. Then he asked if I had lost and envelope with some money in it!

Andy and Jesse, had for 2 days watched store video, looked at register records using time stamp matching the video, saw that I had filled out the Ollie's Army rewards card. Then with all the pieces in place they were able to find a phone number for me, and could say, that this lost envelope with the cash money belonged to me. Oh my gosh!!!! I was thrilled to get that phone call.

I am still so impressed with the management at this Ollie's Store in Bedford, IN. impressed with their honesty, follow-through, persistence, detective work... all that they had to do to find the owner of all of that money! I will forever be grateful. These two men and whomever helped them need some kind of accommodation and recognition for what they have done for me, and their store image and reputation. When I offered reward money or a tip, they refused to accept it. You can trust Ollie's employees to do the right...

Ollie's is a great place to get discount items. (They have basically replaced Big Lots in having lower prices.) The store is pretty basic looking, nothing too fancy or exciting. Probably one of the ways they keep prices down. I encourage people to check them out, especially if you want a bargain! They have literally about everything. A nice book area, an electronics area, food, candles, "As Seen On TV" area, bedding, outdoors, tools, clothing... I could keep going but I'm sure you get the drift (and want me to stop already! Haha!) 😂 On a side note, I wish they did better at stocking. For example, they will get in spray paint (at a great price too!) but it will sell out quickly and it is usually WELL over a month before they put more out. Overall though, I'm happy we...

Ollie's scam going on with discount coupons! You get a card in the mail from Ollie's for a 15% discount on entire purchase around the same time they send you one through their app. I didn't notice anywhere that they were the same discount. I used the one on my phone and a couple weeks later decided to use the mail coupon. They tell me it's already been used, wish I knew that before I loaded my cart with $150 merchandise . Buyer beware.
