I've recently visited the bee cave store on several occasions. Each experience was very negative the first time it was during Christmas I was looking for a ring the sales associate that finally assisted me was not very engaging, and it made me feel like my business was not wanted in the store the associate went as far as directing me to a jewelry store across the road, where I did go and I ended up spending more than the highest priced items that I saw in the James Avery store. The experience left me feeling like the store doesn't want the business of black Americans, as I was the only black in the store. After getting home and thinking on it for a long while I decided maybe I was over reacting. So I decided to give it another try, being that the person I was purchasing the items for loves James Avery pieces. I did I picked several items that I wanted that day. The sales clerk treated me the same way as the first sales clerk, i was very uncomfortable to say the least. The rings needed to be sized to an 11. the clerk informed me that she would need to email to see if the rings could be sized to an 11, and that she would email me a response. This on March 30th . I have yet to get a response . I now come to the conclusion that this company does promote this type of behavior. The only thing different from the other customers is my color. My money was the same color. I was dressed appropriately. Although my friend loves these pieces. I can't spend my money on them especially if I can't be treated with respect like every one else that walks through those doors. It also safe to say not only did you loose a new customer you've also lost a long standing one.the jewelry store across the road is way more expensive. At this point I'd rather spend more and be treated like a human being with...
Read moreWent to this particular James Avery location and walked around store close to ten minutes before a gentleman emergerged from the back and asked if he could help me. I love James Avery and once or twice a year purchase birthday and christmas gifts for family. I also look forward to the complimentary cleaning of my own james avery jewelry while I browse however the man who waited on me explained they could not polish my jewelry because they were backed up and that it would take two day's to complete the request! I asked if they could make an acception since I did only came by once in awhile. His answer was no I am sorry.
Since when can't James Avery find 5 minutes to buff my jewelry!?
He went on to help out another customer who wandered into the store no doubt to get their JA jewelry cleaned. Lol
I went ahead and purchased my gift and as I was checking out the lady informed me they had complimentary cleaning anytime..
Oh the irony. Sorry but James Avery customer service is not what it used to be. Will not be going to this Bee Caves location...
Read moreThe worst customer service. I've never felt so uncomfortable. I've never been a fan of James Avery but my friend has a few bracelets. She was having trouble with one so we came to this store after eating lunch nearby. I decided to look around while waiting for her when I felt someone right behind. Apparently, one of the salespeople decided to follow me around even though everything I was looking at was behind a glass case. She asked if I needed help. I smiled and said no thank you. I told her that I was just waiting for my friend to finish. She then just stood right behind me the whole entire time. Even my friend noticed how I was treated and apologized for going...
