A woman named Sean, in the return department, clearly DIDNT want to be at work today, which I totally understand. What I donât understand is why it was taken out on me. This started with me buying 4 items and attempting to use my $15 kohlâs cash. After I paid, my total didnât seem right so I checked my receipt.. only $5 of the Kohlâs cash was taken off. No problem, mistakes happen and my cashier advised me to go to the return desk. This is where I met Mrs. Sean. Immediately she cut me off and said âNOPE- you canât use this for kohls cares itemsâ I said âI know, I didnât only buy kohlâs care items, I bought a $20 tee shirt which the total should have came off of.â She asks for my kohlâs cash to scan on my phone, which I happily obliged as it seemed great she was ready to fix my issue. She scans the code successfully. My phone screen then went dark, as most do after inactivity. She immediately says âI need to scan that again, why would you take it away?â This caught me so off guard I immediately unlocked my phone and apologized, but it was clear her attitude was already ruined. She processed my $7 refund and I told her I needed to leave, because she was making me very uncomfortable. She then told me I was STEALING, and began making a scene saying âSHE STOLE, SHE IS STEALING THE SHIRT.â I then walk back to the return desk and ask for a manager because I of course didnât want to be accused of stealing. The manager then informed me HE would just pay for the shirt so we could end this. I PAID FOR THE SHIRT WITH MY KOHLS CASH. I even over paid for the shirt! So to be yelled at and berated in front of an entire store for âstealingâ after already having this woman be rude to me the entire transaction, was humiliating and hurtful. I will never be back to this store again but Iâm writing this in hopes this woman will never make another customer feel...

My husband and I returned to Kohls in Belair because the day prior the cashier forgot to take the ink tags off our merchandise, so today I went to have that fixed by customer service. Apparently we were not standing in the proper designated area, so a lady from customer service told us where to go stand to wait for help, since she was assisting another customer. We proceeded to stand in the designated area. Honest mistake since the line is some weird configuration, most customers seemed to miss as well. While we were waiting in the designated area, another customer service lady approached us and began to lean over the rope, waving us forward, telling us we âneed to moveâ forward to make room for the lady that just came in in back of us. The way she spoke to us was so unpleasant, rude, and really condescending. I stared at her blankly, dismayed that she was even addressing us this way. Both my husband and the customer in back of me who she was telling me to move for could not believe the audacity and lack of professionalism from this individual. There is a polite way to ask somebody to move. It seemed that no matter where we stood it was wrong. This was such an unpleasant experience. In the future I will be going to the Forest Hill Kohls.    Read moreIf I could go without giving a rating I would do so. Yesterday 9/2, I went to redeem my $20 kohlâs cash and use that $10 off $25. I had the misfortune to be attended to by the cashier of Asian descent( maybe Indian). I tired to use another cashier but she was busy. She didnât smile, she was abrupt when she had to answer my inquiries. When my purchase was completed, she wanted to place the small items in a big plastic bag and I asked for a smaller one. She sighed loudly and proceeded to place the plastic bag on the top of my purchases. I asked another question and she rudely directed me to customer service. I asked to speak to the manager, left my name and number and till now, I havenât received a response. I am extremely disappointed with this location. Iâm definitely contacting their corporate office. Note* I got a call back the next day from the corporate office as well as the regional manager. The store manager has been on vacation which was why he didnât call.
