Some businesses deserve 10 star reviews. Some businesses are a cut above all others. Some businesses are “a secret”, only people “in the know”, are aware of the business. This business is all of the above. It is an “OMG” business. When you enter, you immediately thing, “Oh my God!” It also is larger in the inside than the outside. I have lived in Houston for years, driven by this place for years. My loss. Discovering this business is like discovering a new flavor of ice cream. Customer service rules supreme. Everyone is happy to see you, eager to help you, (but not pushy), and they make shopping there a pleasure. The building gets lots of natural light and it just makes everything inside shine. You have to experience it. Everywhere I turned I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Check out the photos for just a small sampling of what they sell. Games, jewelry, clothing, home decorations, children clothes, scooters, beautiful paintings, candles, and so much more. You have to go visit them. Do not do what I did, learn from my mistake, do not just drive by, stop and step in, say hi. It is a “small” business that survived the pandemic. You can order on line. They don’t sell pizza or jet skies, but they are perfect for your family, your wife, and your kids. Go visit them. Even if you don’t buy anything, you will...
Read moreIf I could give you zero stars I would. I have been a customer for years, not often but a few times a year and I always walk out feeling the same way. Dismayed and disappointed with the customer service. I keep going back because I love the unique items the store carries but after my visit today, I will never walk in again. As a small business owner myself, I am shocked (especially at this time, where small businesses are struggling due to the Pandemic) that a customer could walk into a small business, not be greeted by any of the 3 - 4 sales people standing around talking amongst themselves, continue to walk around the store for at least 10 minutes and still never have a sales person inquire if they can help me, welcome me, etc. and then let me walk out with no "goodbye, thanks for coming" "sorry you didn't find anything" "we hope to see you again soon" etc. Not sure how y'all are staying in business with such staff or maybe you were the owners. Either way, you've just lost one good customer who has spent many dollars in your store but vows to never...
Read moreVery disappointed with my boss being accused of theft when I personally shop here for gifts she gives to others. She recently had a surgical procedure and visited today, on National Womens Day, to support the business. She was not dressed as she typically would and wanted to be in a place she felt comfortable. Imagine how surprised she was to have an employee race out of the store and tell her to empty her pockets. By the way, she walked in with a wallet and iced coffee. The store employee said “I think there were some candles back there.” How could she steal candles, so naturally when my boss emptied her pockets…no candles were found. The amount of money she spends here as a quiet and kind philanthropist goes unnoticed. It is unbelievable and to think they treated her so poorly is beyond belief. As her personal assistant, I can tell you she mostly shops at Ylang23 in Dallas where they own another residence. She is the sweetest person and has never stolen a thing in her life and you should be proud she even shops at your stores. Do not shop...
