Avoid this location!! I went to pick up my equipment for my new service, I left without it. The guy was yelling at customer service on the phone. The yells at me and another customer to move from the doorway because he will get fired if we are by the door and that he doesnât want anyone around him while he is on the phone. I was hoping I would get help from someone else but I didnât. He goes to get my tower and realizes Iâm supposed to have a zoom box as well. He returns with it. He then tells me I can get a mobile line and asked my carrier. I chose not to share that information and he got upset that I didnât want a mobile line. All of sudden he begins saying I will have internet but I will have to come back for the box because itâs his last one. I told him âso since itâs your last one, I canât have it?â He said itâs broke. When he was literally bagging everything up until I didnât want the mobile phone. He was not polite at all and I will not make double trips to this location because he wants to give poor customer service.
Then I reached out to customer and my account had been deactivated they tried to tell me I need to pay $25 to reactivate an account I did not deactivate. All this trouble for some WiFiâŠno thank you! I will take my hard earned money and get...
   Read moreI went to this store to get internet service and the store manager offered me the advantage of getting internet and phone services at the same price and with one bill. I also asked him to remove the internet device installation service because I know how to install it myself without having to pay the $100 installation service.
At the end of the month, I was surprised that $100 was deducted from my bank account and two separate phone and internet bills were sent with double the amount.
I called the company's customer service and they confirmed to me that the manager included one bill for both services, but that was not available, meaning that the manager should not have done that because the two services are separate. I went back to the same manager and he submitted a request to add the $100 to my balance and I requested to resolve the dispute regarding the phone bill. The $100 was added to my balance but the problem of the two bills was not resolved, and I now have to pay two bills for two services instead of one bill.
In short, this company allows its stores to practice fraud and deception to obtain more service...
   Read moreI'm new to Houston. I have have this provider for about 1 month. I am contemplating finding another provider. One with good customer support. I chatted in today to ask about what it costs to get a new phone to use for my free line. I was asking some basic questions where the answers would determine if I would buy a phone and use the free line.
I asked which major provider network is the xfinity mobile service ran on. If it were one that works in the area I live, I would have bought a phone.
However, this question, for some reason was just too much for the guy on the chat to answer.
While I was asking questions je kept telling me to click the link and give them my social security number. Because "THIS IS REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE".
He abruptly ended the chat. Now? I won't be buying a phone from xfinity.
I understand this didn't happen in this store, but it's the store I've been to and rude chat support needs feedback somewhere.
Instead, he sent a message telling me to contact someone else. To say "Verizon" or "at&t". That simple.
