MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Bellaire

Our kids have gluten and dairy allergies. MOD pizza has been such a needed find. We headed to the Medical Center location, I called from the road, asked the machine to speak to the store, a man answered and specifically confirmed that at that particular location they in fact had both currently in supply -- GF crusts and nondairy cheese. But when we come to the restaurant, after parking in the paid garage, and wait in line for our turn, we are told they are out of both. Sunday around 2pm. They completely deny any responsibility, act rudely and unapologetically. Tell me what I did wrong. I ask to at least be compensated for the parking charge, am first denied and then given a "free pizza" card. I say thank you and we leave. When later in the day we make it to the Bellaire location, it's really busy. There's a large team, all working really hard, and seem to have great team work established, staying focused, trying to go really fast and still finding time for excellent customer service. They make eye contact, apologize for the wait, carefully and patiently take the requests, find it possible to hear and answer questions. At the register it turns out that the giftcard we were given was a used one. But they take my word for it, don't charge us for the pizza for our grandpa, without doubting us for a second. What a nice compensation for us after wasting precious time on a Sunday afternoon driving to and from the Medical Center location, waiting in line there, paying for parking for nothing, receiving rude to saybthe least service. Poor experience. I normally go to the branch on San Felipe but went to this one in the area. Staff put the pizza together with little care. It then sat on the edge of the oven while other pizza from customers after me went in. I was in no rush so I went to a store next door. Came back and pizza wasn’t ready. No problem. I watched them take my pizza out and leave it in the box with the top open as they catered to other guests and Uber eats. I asked if I could grab mine since it’s sitting there and got the response “ I do them in the order they come out”. Even then I didn’t plan to leave a review but I get home and the pizza is barely cooked (you could still see individual mozzarella strands) so had to cook it more in the toaster oven. May have been a bad day based on the reviews but I’ve never had an issue at the San Felipe or s. Rice branches. Will not be going back to this one. Two stars because at least I left with a...

Who likes Cold Pizza? We love MOD Pizza, but tonight the service at the Bellaire location was Horrible!!!!

We placed an online order. Sent text upon arrival. 10 minutes pass, no pizza. Waiting patiently, another 5-10 minutes pass. Sent another text, then noticed other people walking in and leaving with orders. Mind you, there was plenty of staff walking and standing around. What's the purpose of curbside if food never comes? Another 10 minutes, no pizza.. I went inside to ask. First person tells me online orders are "over there". Then another guy hands me pizza from designated "curbside online shelf" stacked high and says, "Oh you ordered curbside?" Yes, of course I did and been waiting over 30 minutes. No apology or nothing. No one thought why are all these online orders sitting here piled up? Now we have cold pizza to enjoy. I hope they figure out what went wrong...
