Our local Farmers agent, Jill, did a wonderful job. She advocated for us even when it was difficult! She always maintained professionalism while keeping our best interests in mind, even when my frustration was showing. I can't imagine how hard it is to be an agent, but Jill went above and beyond to help us and we're so thankful to have gotten the fair resolution we deserved. Even when things got frustrating, Jill was there for us. I believe her heart truly is in what she does, and that's important, especially when you're feeling very confused and conflicted with the others who are involved. Thanks Jill! *Disclaimer: not anything to do with Jill but PLEASE BEWARE if you have an extra "floater" for jewelry (an additional charge, which we paid thousands on already), know they'll do everything they can to get you to go through a company called Artigem Replacement Services. I worked with Jeff Whitesides. But the Farmer's adjusters must get a kick back, which I won't even get into because ours was such a mess! Apparently you need an added "floater" if you want to get what your actual appraisal is for, but turns out that's not true. In our case it was 9 years later and of course the value went up, it's a custom ring with a very special diamond! Artigem and my Farmers' adjuster (they work together) not only tried low balling us and were extremely pushy when we said we wanted to go through our family jeweler, whom my family has been using 50+ years, but claimed my trusted jeweler wasn't honest! Seriously?!? Boiled my blood, as it should anyone. It should be stated in the policy that this is their way of doing business, and they will always offer far less than your appraisal unless you go through Artigem (are they lab grown, blood diamonds? no idea and don't want to find out!). When a jeweler is not only looking over our original appraisal for Farmers, but also wanting the business from us and Farmers, how isn't it a conflict of interest? There's so much more. I've seen reviews saying Artigem got their rings done in two days, whaaaaaat? Again, just thankful Jill was there for us. My husband and I have only had two claims in our lives, the other through another company. The other was flawless. Thanks for helping us Jill! Read morePlease read! I was hesitant to use Artigem due to one really bad review that I read. After talking with my insurance adjuster and the claims specialist at Artigem, I decided to try it as they assured me of the quality. Glad I did! It was well worth it! It was one of the best insurance experiences I have EVER had. I had lost one of the heart shaped diamonds in my wedding ring. That ring was very precious to me as I had married the love of my life. We were young and broke at the time we were married and this ring signified our deep love. It was heartbreaking to lose the diamond but Artigem went right to work and found me another diamond which was better quality. They did it in a day, sent me a video of diamond for my review and asked if I wanted it shipped to my home to look at it. I couldn't believe it. It was at our house the next day! They arranged all of the shipping and sent me instructions and packages for sending the new diamond back and my damaged ring for repair. Upon inspection of the ring once they received it at Artigem, they found a chip in the other heart shaped diamond. They immediately contacted me and asked if I wanted it replaced. I did and they found another replacement diamond...again of even better quality. The ring was repaired in under a week and it was returned safely after repair. When I received it, I was taken back by the impeccable quality and how stunning it looked. It was BEAUTIFUL! Read moreI lost my beautiful wedding/engagement ring of 15 years in early August. After reporting the loss to our insurance company and continuing to search for it, I filed a claim and discovered Jeff Whitesides at Artigem. He very quickly called me and explained in great detail how the process would work to replace or recreate my ring. I decided to have Artigem recreate my original ring. We fortunately had a very detailed appraisal to work with from 3 years ago, but Jeff had a vision to make my "new" ring more special! We e-mailed frequently until the wax model of my ring was sent to me for approval. Once that happened my new ring was quickly finished and Fedex'd to our home. I happened to have a question on how my center stone was mounted as I could not recall "exactly" how it was on my original ring (the appraisal only had 2 pictures of it). Jeff repeatedly told me throughout the process that if there were anything I wasn't absolutely comfortable with, they would make it perfect. We talked about a new head for the center stone, my ring was shipped back to Artigem last week, and I just received it again several days ago.
