Today was our first time trying Justitias’s.
I ordered the bacon breakfast sandwich on ciabatta with extra bacon and the spicy aioli for myself, a bacon breakfast sandwich on a bagel with the sriracha-marmalade for my husband, and an order of biscuits and gravy to split so we could try them.
Overall, the actual taste of the food was good, but there were several things amiss.
My sandwich had less than half the surface area covered with the aioli, which was disappointing because it was tasty. The extra bacon I paid for was nowhere to be found. The eggs are not fried as the menu suggests. Fried eggs should have crispy edges and have some color to them, these were as white as white can be. They were also unseasoned. All of this could have been made a little better if the sandwich were pressed to give it more texture.
My husband said the marmalade was amazing, however, he said the sandwich would have been much better if the bagel had been toasted and the eggs would have actually been fried. Again, missing texture.
The biscuits and gravy had great flavor, but the biscuits were...

Once inside, I ordered a hot Lucky Charms Latte. My friend got an iced peach & raspberry matcha and a breakfast sandwich on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich looked good, smelled good, and tasted good. It was well-portioned--big enough to fill a hungry belly!
Neither of us liked our drinks. My latte was bland. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. But it wasn't overly anything. It tasted of the non-marshmallow cereal bits: The cardboard flavor nobody eats without the delicious candy-like marshmallows. There were coffee grounds at the bottom of the cup.
The matcha was overly sweet. It was a thick, syrupy sludge. Undrinkable.
I would not come back unless specifically for that breakfast sandwich. But then, what's the point of going to a coffeehouse and not getting coffee? ...
Read moreAs soon as we walked in, I knew I was going to love it. The atmosphere at Justitia's is beautiful with the exposed brick and the tiled ceiling with all sorts of music being played. We were greeted when we came in, and Jasmyn was so helpful. She talked to our son, offered recommendations since it was our first time in, and was genuinely just pleasant to talk to. My husband had a caramel latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich; I had the biscuits and gravy with a honey bee latte. The food was brought out to us and was delightful, but dear Mother of God, my latte was DELICIOUS! It was so smooth and flavorful. The only negative thing about Justitia's is that it is 20 minutes from my home, and that's not something they can fix. I will most certainly...
