I cracked my laptop screen and took it to this place on a Thursday because they were estimating $100 cheaper than geek squad but otherwise my laptop was in perfect working order. Ismael told me he would give me a call in a couple days, I never got the call. I called him Monday and he told me they weren't finished yet and for some reason he told me they had to remove my motherboard. I wondered why but then he said it should be ready by Wednesday. I picked my laptop up Thursday at a rate $20 higher than he originally quoted, because according to him it was a higher quality screen. On the surface it appeared he did a great job, until I actually started using the computer. All of a sudden my otherwise fine laptop is now running very slow. It takes the computer 5 minutes to boot up now, whereas before it was immediate. Google Chrome used to open immediately now it takes a couple minutes and runs very sluggish. The icing on the cake was the sudden blue screen error and reboot which has never happened before. I looked in the error logs and saw that the same thing happened a few days prior while he had the laptop. I take it back to Ismael and explain my issue because my computer was fine before I gave it to him. I've already given him $140 for the screen and the first thing he says is that it will be $69 just to run the diagnostic. I tell him thats not satisfactory because my laptop was fine before I brought it to you, in addition to the fact that for some reason you removed my motherboard. Now he is denying that he ever said that and says he did not remove the motherboard. We go back and forth because he stresses that he gave me a great deal on the screen and the best he can do is to take 50% off the diagnostic fee. I tell him thats not ok and that he should inspect the laptop at no charge because these issues have only started since he worked on it. He tried to blame me saying I dropped the laptop at some point which I never have, he basically said everything he could to deflect blame. I had no recourse because Im not a lawyer and even though I wanted to punch him, I can't do that. So I told him to take the screen back and refund my money, he refused. So now I have an improperly working laptop and Im $140 poorer. To top it off, a man walked in as my wife and I were about to leave and he had complaints about work done on his ipad to which Ismael tried to deflect blame again and told the man he dropped it. Don't do business with this scumbag. He's the type that thinks because he has some expertise he can manipulate and rob people. Bad customer service, bad business ethics, if I could give him a zero I would. I will also be leaving reviews on Yelp and wherever else I can in relation to this guy. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Bellflower Chamber of Commerce because this guy and scumbags like him who think they can get over on people are bad for...

I took my laptop here three months ago to get my battery fixed. Inititally, I signed an agreement and he made me pay $20 dollars as a downpayment. He said he would diagnose it and call me back before fixing anything. Days after, there are no calls. I called him the week after and he said that he bought a new battery and that it would take weeks to ship. He then told me he would call me back.
Two weeks after, there are no calls. When I called him, he said that the newly placed battery was not working. He said he would check the system and motherboard and would call me back whether it would be worth fixing or not. I got busy due to holidays and banked on the idea that he would call me as soon as he can.
A month and a half has passed. I have been waiting for long and wondering why I haven’t been called. I finally called and asked where my laptop is. He said that he doesn’t know where my laptop is and that I should’ve picked it up within 30 days. I told him that I have been waiting for his call.
He told me that in the written agreement I signed that customers are obligated to pick up the merchandise within 30 days. He said he was not obligated to call customers. I angrily told him I would sue him if I don’t get my laptop back. He then stopped blaming me and said that he would work with me and that he would call me back.
Few days after, he called me back and said that he found my laptop. He told me I have to pay $99 diagnostic fee or else I wouldn’t get my laptop. I went to pick up my laptop the next day and he said that the motherboard is dead beyond repair and that he tried to fix it. I HAVE NEVER AGREED TO GET THE MOTHERBOARD FIXED. I asked him why he tried to fix it when I never consented to it. HE NEVER ONCE CALLED ME about it. He lied and said that I told him to fix it.
I asked for an itemized receipt for what was done with the laptop. However, he said he doesn’t provide itemized receipt. I paid the $99 dollars (don’t forget the $20 dollars downpayment), because I was wasting so much time arguing with this owner. This owner would not accept responsibility and kept blaming me for not picking up the laptop.
How would I know if he truly tried to fix my laptop or diagnose it without an itemized receipt? Also, WHY IS MY LAPTOP ALL SCRATCHED UP? It was in a top new condition when I gave it to them. Why is it that I’m responsible in making all the calls? He never once called me. This business is a scam and fool people. Don’t trust...
Read moreDo not waste your time or money here. Ismael is a dishonest person! I took my phone in to fix a cracked screen, came out worse unfortunately... was quoted $55. When ismael contacted me he said "your phone is ready for pick up but it's going to be more" once I got to location he said, "I fixed your screen and cleaned it so it will be $75" i kindly responded saying, you didn't consult that price before fixing I was told $55, nor did we discuss anything else being an issue with my phone after diagnosis." he said, "ok I'll leave it at $65" than said "you know what $60".. I payed because I would have tipped anyway... as my day went on I noticed my phone freezing. Contacted the store and Ismael said bring it back.. he said he would change my battery and would charge $40 but didn't have it in store he would have to order, will arrive in 2 days. I was a little hesitant because I had already lost trust. He stated that if it still didn't fix the problem he would give me a phone because I invested money already.. After 2 days I called and he said he was busy (understandable) to come in the following week. Once I got to the store Ismael quoted me different prices and said "you know what that's not the problem it's the mother board and it will be over $100 to fix" I told him "I just want my phone fixed but you keep guessing and I keep having to pay more" At that point I just felt like he wasn't a sincere person and was just trying to take more of my money. He got mad and started to raised his voice. I asked for my phone back as I no longer wanted his service. He kept raising his voice at me and prolonged to give me my phone back. Finally as he returned my phone he stated he did not need my money.. Also, on my first visit after I picked up my phone Ismael begged for a yelp & google review. He took over my phone and insisted to post on that very moment. After my horrible experience I mentioned that after all that time and money just like he begged for a good yelp review (which I now deleted) I was going to delete it and tell my true experience. If you go to this business I assure you he will have you do the same. I wish I would have read reviews before going. Similar...
