I normally don't write reviews but after my experience with Jessica, I felt the need. I talked with Jessica before my appt and showed her pictures of the color and cut I wanted. We talked about it again at the appt and she sounded confident. After the color was washed out, we both agreed that it was way too dark. Instead of a chestnut brown, it turned black which is not what I wanted at all. She told me to wait 3 weeks and if I still hate it to let her know and she will bleach it. I have had my hair bleached in the past and definitely don't want to do that again and damage it more. It really shouldn't even be an option, if my hair was colored the way it should have been. To make matters worse, I asked her to trim off the split ends and not the length and I wanted layers in the front. She ended up giving me a blunt cut all around chopping off about 3 inches. I have been growing my hair out and I'm pretty sad that I have to start all over again. The layers were also a mess and not even. I told her I part my hair on the side but she still cut it as if I parted my hair in the middle. The all over cut on the bottom isn't even either. I have thick hair so she "thinned it" out by chopping some of my hair at my scalp in the back. You can imagine my horror. After it was all said and done, I left with a sloppy botched haircut and color and still had tons of hair dye on my scalp and forehead. I had to clean it off myself when I got home. I have never received service like this before and am extremely sad and disappointed. I messaged the owner who was very sweet and offered to help fix my hair but after that service, I will not be stepping foot into that salon again. I also messaged Jessica who was very defensive and denied any wrong doing even though she admitted it is not what I asked for at the appointment. She refused to offer me a refund. It's not about the money though, its more about the principle of keeping something you're not entitled to. She needs ALOT more training and needs to go back...

My wife Elspeth is the owner of the salon. Now I know I’m suppose to do the “loving hubby” support review but I’ll just be totally honest with you. These girls are too good at what they do.. it’s suspicious… anything you want from colors, cuts, oloplex, perms, corrections, etc. these ladies can do and their pricing is extremely fair. The place has been updated and has a comfortable environment. You’ll leave looking and feeling better than when you came in. Elspeth, Sam, Miranda, and Jess are great at what they do!! Highly recommend the Beauty Collective.

I haven't let dye touch my hair in 12 years!! Well this time I went for it and I couldn't be HAPPIER! Miranda did a wonderful job!! Both my daughter and I went in for a dramatic color change yesterday. It turned out beautiful! I feel so beautiful and sexy. This salon is quite a ways away from my hous and the whole drive home I kept trying to make eye contact with other drivers like "DO YOU SEE THIS BEAUTIFUL HEAD OF HAIR??!...I know you do 😉" I highly highly recommend the beauty collective. I will be returning...
