Carpet Liquidators — Local services in Bellingham

After shopping both big box stores and several other flooring companies, we decided to drop by Carpet Liquidators in Bellingham to compare prices and product quality. We were pleasantly surprised that the product quality and pricing were to equal or better than the other businesses in our area offered. Since we were planning to replace the flooring in our entire house we wanted to be sure we were dealing with the right company to begin with. We met Drew who was patient and enthusiastic in explaining the various options available to us within our budget. After making our decision and working up a cost estimate, we received additional input from the manager Darion, who made additional suggestions for alternate flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, which saved us even more money. It was obvious to us that both Darion and Drew had our best interests in mind.

In addition to the excellent customer service we received at the store, the quality of service from the installers was exceptional. Jackson and Luis Martinez and their crew did a superb install, as well as being personable and cheerful during the entire job. They were also very prompt, efficient and professionally reliable in every aspect of our interaction with them.

Gina (sales associate) is awesome. She is helpful, knowledgeable, follows up, and is a pleasure to work with. Product was very well priced and is a way better buy than Home Depot or Lowe's. It was nice working with people who know their stuff and have stock they can pull from across the state. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the 3rd party installation company that they have do the installations. The actual installation itself was very quick and professional, but the communication between this 3rd party, the customer, and Carpet Liquidators was quite poor. They rescheduled twice on me for measuring, blaming the reschedule on ME because I was not ready for them to show up early at 8:30am. The appointment was at 9am. We like the flooring we bought... but it stops there. We pretty much replaced the floors in our entire house. We paid extra to have the waterproof floor caulked. The caulking was so thick and globby that it had to be removed in order for us to be able to put our trim back on. The installer left a huge mess inside and out all 3 times he came. The last time he came he left our front door open the entire time he cut the flooring with his saw on our porch, allowing the saw dust to come in and cover our appliances, electronics and furniture. The installer left large gaps around the perimeter of floors and scuffed up our brand new door trim. We were offered a refund for the caulking... which was the least that could be done... only never to receive (even after several attempts to contact).
