This has to be one of my most favorite places on Earth! Seriously!
I lived in Bellingham from 2009 - 2021 and this kind of place did not exist that whole time. In fact it was kind of an industrial waste land of which we would try and sneak into from time to time - haha.
But since the development of the place I must say the city has done pretty much the coolest thing possible and put in a huuuuge pump track... and then doubled down and built more! Seriously what a cool move. This could have easily been a Panera Bread or something...
What's even more cool is that there is the Kulshan Beer Garden and also the Tune Up Bike Festival now. Really lovely to see it all come together.
Of course this was the place I held my going away party, as shown in the pictures, but I have also been back since and look forward to seeing it evolve.

The Waterfront Pump Track in Bellingham is a fantastic spot featuring a unique and elaborate pump track and bike course, perfect for mountain biking practice. The area also includes a container village with food options, mini golf, bike rentals, wood sculpture art, waypoint park’s beach, and delicious ice cream at the Granary Building. The BMX track is soo much fun for bicyclist of all ages. It's well appreciated by the Bellingham Bicycling Community.
