These folks take the cake for best pizza crust... Now... You must want a focaccia based crust, but in this it is unique. One of the things you will have to deal with are younger, less experienced servers, it is a college town... But they do find friendly if sometimes apologetic kids that do their best. Now .. aside from that .. it is Bellingham, and for me .. all such things as odor, people, weather... Must all be tolerated... The is the West Coast equivalent of New Englands family Insmouth... There are even out in the islands... Folks that are like .. the outsiders... So you must be ready for the environment... Perhaps bring a copy of the Necronomicon if the stars are right.... But I digress... Eldritch ambience aside... This is in the running for best pizza I've ever had... Next to Mystic Pizza in Athens.... And I suspect if they had a goat cheese option a'la "goat mountain"... Then the elder gods that lurk the pizzaria of B'ham... Would defeat and swallow the Olympian glory of the Mediterranean that I frequent when traveling abroad. Truly you should eat here... Crispy and succulent, with just the right edge of burnt cheese... A treat before lurking the caves up on chuckanut or listening to the voices on the air of Bellingham Bay on a moonlit night.... A pizza worth giving just a small fraction of your soul... Cheers! ia ia Cthulhu Ftaghn!

My girlfriend and I went here after a paint night about 2 years ago. We were back in the Bellingham area just this past week and we both said we had to go back to the pizza place! We couldn't remember the name but remembered the area. While on the street a lady asked us if we needed help, all we said was it has amazing pizza and cookies and she said you are looking for Goat Mountain Pizza! We walked and said yes this is the place. If you are in the downtown Bellingham area you must go here... Grab a slice of their awesome pizza and then get a cookie and yes you want it warmed up. They serve local beers and ciders too. They also have a fresh herb garden right in front of the kitchen. Great service and great food! I'll always return when I'm in the area.

I’ve eaten more pizza in my life than some small countries. I keep a pizza tier list in my head at all times and consider myself expert only in this area of food reviews. Goat Mountain makes pizza that has rocketed into the top tier of my list. I think the closest comparison most people would know is round table pizza or mountain mikes, but this is a whole step above those places and it’s difficult to compare to anything I’ve had before. My compliments to their chefs, they are doing the lord’s work. 10/10 will return. They were also playing some great music and had great decor. “It’s my life” by No Doubt was on and the combination of atmosphere and deliciousness had me giggling to myself all the way home.

I had heard a lot of good things about Goat Mountain Pizza and was excited to try it. I ordered three slices to go which came out to be a little more than $16. Had to stand at the counter for about 5 minutes waiting for change and then probably 15 to 20 for the pizza which came in a box.

I wish I looked into the box before leaving to Boulevard Park. I do not know if they have standardized times for how long they warm the pizza in the oven, but it was obvious that this pizza went WELL BEYOND that. $16 is a lot to pay for pizza that is so burnt you can barely distinguish (flavor and look) between the three different kinds of slices you had bought. The bottoms of the slices were all black.

My brother, who I was with, assured me this wasn't typical and it's usually much better and fluffy, not burnt black, dehydrated and extremely crispy. My experience was disheartening, especially because as far as I could tell they weren't what I'd call busy- it was a Tuesday around 1:30pm. If you go, you'll hopefully have a better experience. I'd like to give Goat Mountain a second chance because my experience was supposedly well below sub-par, but at the price and lack of consideration for the product they handed me I will likely not work up the courage...

When it comes to finding delicious pizza in Bellingham, Goat Mountain Pizza really stands out, especially for those in need of gluten-free options. Run by the same owners as Black Sheep, this spot maintains a high standard of quality and hospitality.

The space itself is welcoming and well-designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere whether you're out for a casual meal or a more special occasion. The staff here are as great as the space—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help.

One of the highlights at Goat Mountain Pizza is definitely their gluten-free pizza. It’s not just an afterthought; this pizza is genuinely delicious, rivaling their regular offerings in taste and texture, which is a rare find. Along with great pizza, they also offer a selection of drinks that perfectly complement any meal.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, Goat Mountain Pizza is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic pizza experience, especially if you or someone you know appreciates a good gluten-free option. They've got the atmosphere, the drinks, and most importantly, the pizza...
