Let me start with I’ve grown up along the shore all my life and been fishing for as long as I can remember. I turn 41 yesterday ( which I spent fishing on the capt cal2 ). I was never big on the party boat scene because of previous bad experiences. We’ll this Father’s Day me my gf and her dad went out on the capt cal2 and they changed my mind on party boat fishing. I decided to give it another shot after that and my mind was set. This was gonna be my go to boat. I’ve made 5 trips now since June and not one bad experience. I’ve had slow days and very productive days but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. Luckily enough each trip I brought home fish for the freezer. They truly have a great operation going starting with Debbie who is more then helpful with any questions or concerns with quick responses to your emails ( only way I have spoken to Debbie personally). Capt Ron is a great guy easy to talk to works hard to put you on the fish communicates with you on how deep your fishing and what kind of bottom your on to help you catch fish and just over all a stand up guy. The crew Jeff John Ben and Andrew (only mates I've been out with if I forgot someone my apologies) are great very helpful right there when needed with a net or more bait or any other needs you might have. They work extremely hard and stay busy all day long. Don’t forget to tip your mates they bust their butts. I look forward to more trips on the capt cal2. 5 stars all day every day....

This team (and boat) is SOOOO AMAZING.

The entire Captain Cal 2 team was phenomenal from booking it, to setting up the boat for the party, to the actual ride itself to payment. Not a single issue. I booked the Captain Cal2 with a Debbie mainly via email gathering all the details I needed to make sure it was the right fit. We went with the 4-8PM Sunset Cruise on a Saturday night for my 29th Birthday - and it was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. Debbie gave me every detail I needed in order to execute the Bday party as planned and Ron (Captain) and Randy (Mate) took care of us from start to finish. We had about 37 people total in our party and the boat itself was plenty spacious to move around. We brought our own snacks and beverages with us which Randy helped to load onto the boat. It was honestly just perfect!! Would recommend over...

So I arrived to the Marina at 5:35am & parked in front of the Capt Call II vessel I was greeted by the Captain of Capt Call II very polite as well as the crew. My 2 stars are for the cut-throat move he did! I originally wanted to board the Big Mohawk which departs at 6am, after he greeted me I asked do u know if the Big Mohawk is here & he replied “they already left” so I decided to board his Vessel which wasn’t a great move. I was chewed up by HORSE FLIES, I mean inside the cabin too! When I arrived home I decided to call the Big Mohawk & ask why they departed before 6am which is advertised on there website. The owner replied with “the boat was there at 6am” & had confirmed with the crew to make sure that it was. I mean if business is slow that’s not the way to do things. It’s a very selfish move to make on ur end...
