Pier 9 is like finding a treasure chest on the shores of awesomeness! The views of the marina are so spectacular that you'll feel like you're sipping drinks on the edge of the world. And when it comes to live acoustic music, they've got the sound that can charm even the seagulls into a toe-tapping frenzy.
Watching the sunset from here is like witnessing a daily masterpiece created by the universe itself. You'll find yourself entranced by the colors, wondering if you accidentally stumbled into an alternate dimension of beauty.
But let's not forget the real stars of the show - the drinks! They're like tiny elixirs of joy, served with a side of laughter and friendship. Sharing those moments with your buddies is like setting sail on the ship of good times, navigating through waves of laughter and creating memories that will last longer than a castaway's beard.
So, if you're looking for a shore bar that'll make you feel like a pirate on a quest for fun, Pier 9 is the spot to set your anchor and let the good times roll....
Read moreIf you like eating fried food from a trailer and over paying for cheap rum and fruit juice buckets this is your place. Even knowing the above I still came to pier nine for drinks, music and the sunsets but after my experience this evening I will never return. Upon entering with my family at 5:30 pm an overzealous security guard started yelling at us when we kept walking and smiling when he asked to see my 15 and 17 year old children's ID. We honestly thought he was a nice guy and just horsing around with the kids but the scene he caused quickly escalated and was extremely embarrassing. Once the manager arrived he quickly apologized but the damage had already been done. We left and brought our business to a much better waterfront restaurant River Rock in Point Pleasant. Chefs International restaurants only do well because of their locations (waterfront) they serve crappy food and overpriced watered down drinks and instead of valuing their customers they could care less about your experience at their...
Read moreGreat place to hang out by the water, good atmosphere, good band. Only downside is that for ordering food you have to leave your table and walk to the food counter, order and pay separately (they do bring the food to the table) and then have a separate bill for the drinks. Bartenders are very light on the alcohol when serving cocktails. I think if you charge $8-9 for a cocktail it should have some kick to it but that's just me. At one visit I asked the waitress to tell the bartenders to be a bit more generous with the alcohol and she told me that they are new and they count to four when they pour the drink. I suggested they should count to six or count slowly to four :-) second drink after that was the same and I asked for the manager which was very nice and apologetic and gave me 2 more cocktails with extra alcohol for free. After that I don't remember much of what happened. All I do remember is my 17 years old daughter (just got her license) driving us home and I wasn't scared at all from her...
