I am constantly visiting Sonny's Grill which is next door to this place. Didn't even know Mr. Greek existed until my girlfriend suggested that we try it. I have to say, I have never eaten Greek food before and was a bit apprehensive about trying it.
Had an early dinner this past Saturday. Walked in and browsed their menu which is posted on a huge board on the wall. I played it safe and had the Fried Chicken platter. My girlfriend ordered a salad. We placed the order and sat down in their dining area.
It wasn't very long before Lily came over with our food. I was very impressed with my chicken platter as it came with an ample amount of meat, French fries, salad and dressing. Read moreI was so excited to try this restaurant - there were so many great reviews and I love Greek food - have been to Greece three times! Sadly the food was below average. Nothing was tasty and it didn't seem fresh either. Potatoes were awful they had a bitter taste to them and did not taste fresh. Falafel was meh. Tzatziki was bland. Veg that came with the falafel were wilted and not fresh. Spinach pie was blah - I've had better from a grocery store. Baklava tasted good but again did not seem fresh. Pita was good as were the fries, but that's pretty basic. Very disappointed There are so few restaurant options in this area other than Italian. Sadly would...

Didn’t catch the name of the lovely young woman at the counter, but she couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. The portions are ample and we ended up with plenty to take home for an encore meal. Pita triangles were hot and fresh, and be sure to try the lemon potatoes. There were desserts that looked delicious, too, something to try on my next visit. BYOB so come fortified. What a great find in...
