It's hard for me to put this on here as I'm afraid that my guys won't get their suits that are either paid in full or half paid and I won't get my dress that I didn't buy from there but the seamstress is working on. but I had the worst experience ever with this place and Shatoria. I regret spending money with this lady. When I went in there the first time with my wedding dress that I purchased somewhere else we talked about suits and she promised me my groom could get his suit half off if all the guys went in there to get their suits. I was also supposed to get my girls their dresses from there and she messaged me saying that dress was no longer available but when I went in there with the guys yesterday I seen the same dress I wanted my girls in same size and everything so that was one lie. She never took the inseam size of any of my guys pants, she told my groom he was going to get his suit for free knowing all the details before she even told him that. She then asked me a personal question that I told her minimal details about and she told me I ain't allowed to do that but oh yes I can you dont know what happened and you wont you can't tell me what I can or can not do. When all my guys were done and I went to pay she came to me and told me she heard from a little birdie that I bought a second dress from somewhere else that also was not from her and that I had issues because it's karma on me for not getting it from her. She then told me my groom has to pay full price because the guys didn't get jackets after we were already promised half price and free couple different times. I REGRET going to her. And she was very unprofessional and I'm not happy at all on any of this was taken care of. She kept using the line I'm a boy mom ok so what. You don't treat people like that and you don't lie to people. I just recently realized that I had the color messed up on two of my fellows for the wedding. I asked her way more than enough time in advance before the wedding or even before she would even get the vest asked her if she could change the color. She said she could not after a week and a half of me asking her and I had to ask her. Again. I do not recommend ever going through this lady. She is very unprofessional..... Note to add. I just found out today that she called my daughter and trash talked about me saying I'm lying about everything on this. Which I am not. Always & Forever Formal Wear Saved The Day! I had been looking all over for a mother-of-the-bride dress around Christmas time but nothing matched what I had envisioned. Online shopping was out of the question since I am short and chubby and one-size-fits-all does not work for me. With about a week to spare I remembered this little gem in downtown Beloit. Shatoria was truly amazing. From my description she knew exactly what I wanted and where to find it. She took my measurements, made a phone call to make sure the dress would arrive on time and VOILA! She even had a seamstress on site the day I came to try it on! But the dress was a perfect fit, just as she had promised. I will definitely consult her again next time I need a more formal outfit! Shatoria really cares about her customers and supports the community as well. She is innovative with her window displays - live models showing off her beautiful gowns and waving at passers-by! And I love to watch the live chats where she shows off dresses and keeps her community up-to-date on what she has planned. This seamstress gets a one star review only because I can not give her zero. The seamstress is the most incompetent person ever experienced. She hemmed the dresses far too short because and I quote "the last few I had to redo because I didn't take enough so I took a lot this time so I only had to do it once". The owner, Shatoria, decided to order new dresses, or so she said. She is full of lies and false promises. She decided it would be ok to order a difference dress, remove the skirt and sew it on to my original dress in the most hill billy, terrible jerry rigged way. The other bridesmaid had an appointment for her dress fitting after also hemming that one too short. she was told by Shatoria when she arrived "oops I overbooked and your dress isn't here". It is less than a month before the wedding, Shatoria has had them since March and we have requested the dresses several times to take them to some one competent but Shatoria feeds us line after line and lie after lie.
