I wish we could give Garry's Flooring & Hometown Furnishing 10 STARS! They have been just great to work with!! From the day Garry came to our home in person for the quote; where I noticed him paying attention to every single detail as he explained their project process; something the other companies had not done AT ALL; I had a good feeling about using him for our project. We had the great room and hallway carpet of our new home replaced with a beautiful Shaw vinyl plank flooring and the stairs to the basement replaced with durable carpet recommended by Garry for use on steps and possible high traffic areas. It was a very smooth process. No hiccups at all! The office staff were extremely helpful and very nice! Garry's crew was amazing! Nice young men that made it apparent they take pride in their work! IT SHOWS! Garry was here every day to check in and help with our job. Our floors our absolutely gorgeous and I am so grateful! My wife and I always research anyone we're going to hire as a contractor. Had never heard of Garry's before, and I'm kind of sad that I hadn't, because they are so AWESOME! We do a lot of things on our own, DIY. But this time, we decided ceramic tile was way beyond our skillset. Garry came out and impressed me right off the bat. He was available and on time and he asked all the right questions. He gave me a very reasonable estimate in a short time. We called many other tile guys and no one answered the phone or bothered to call us back except for one. He was too busy on a big job in Wisconsin. The last guy on my list was Garry's. When we said yes, his shop scheduled our installation and it was underway in the capable hands of Garry's son Wyatt and his team. It took them longer than expected but they were dedicated and worked long hours to do it right. I'd sooner have it take too long than to have a rushed job. Unexpected complications with plumbing leaks under the house and a vanity and toilet installation. They were able to work around the plumber and other contractor, and not get in anybody's way. We asked Garry's Ultimate Flooring to undertake the enormous job of sanding our front porch, with part of it being over 100 years old. Part of the porch had been painted prior to our purchasing the home, and we added an additional side porch and gazebo area. We also painted the porch (based on a recommendation, which turned out to be incorrect.) After years of weathering, the porch was in bad shape. It was an extremely difficult job, and I had already selected my colored stain that I was going to use following the sanding process. However, after I saw the job they did, my husband, daughter and son-in-law all agreed we should seal the wood with a complimentary stain, that would really show off the wood. The wood is oak tongue and groove, and they did such a superb job, that we're really excited about seeing the final finish! Garry's has done work for us in the past, both in our family room, and most recently, the flooring in my 16 x 40 She Shed! All 3 experiences have truly been fantastic!
