Not family friendly, and you’d believe new home owners would fall into that category quite regularly. Salesman was happy to ignore us completely until my child climbed onto a bed, at which point she yelled choice words at him across the store, ignored my attempts to speak to her, and proceeded to loudly complain about him to another employee within earshot of him (because, again, she was yelling). My son was so upset I had to ignore the rest of our plans for the day and take him home to have a nice long chat with him about bullying, and how adults have as hard of a time managing their own mouths and bodies as kids do, while he cried. Their team is happy to let it stand after further talk that a possible dusty model duvet is a higher priority than verbal abuse, so if you believe children aren’t human beings who deserve to be treated with the same dignity as any adult would have (although I don’t believe I was either), this place is for you! While I appreciate Furniture Outlet’s gift with optics management, I’m not going to attempt to dredge up a private non-apology from someone who obviously doesn’t choose his staff with customer service in mind after the last attempted meeting, because there was one. Furniture Outlet’s staff was not “sorry” during either interaction. My son has suffered enough. With that in mind I have altered my review, to their benefit I am sure, to better protect my...
Read moreGreg and I were out shopping for a new couch & love seat with recliners. We went there 1st and walked around and Salesman Steven walked up and asked if we needed any help. We told him what we we looking for and he showed us what he had. He did not hover / smother over us, he let us look and if we had any questions to get ahold of him… We reality like this one combo set with the adjusting lumbar… Greg and I went to every furniture in Bend to check what they all had, we even drove to Redmond to look there also… After 4 hours of looking we could not find anything that was close to what Furniture Outlet had and the price. We found Steven again and asked a few more questions about this set..we were happy with what Steven told us and told him we will take this set. He even gave us a small discount for coming back and buying. I hate salesmen hanging around ya it just make me not wanting to buy from them…Steven is a great salesmen and lets ya make your own decision with out the pressure from a salesman hovering over your every move… He got us a delivery date scheduled and can’t wait to get our new furniture… Steven is great… if you go there ask for him if you have...
Read moreWe had an absolutely horrible experience purchasing our King bed set. Apparently they have been in business for 20 years, but I don't see how this is possible. When we picked up our bed set we were given mix matched sets (different boxes for each). Of course, we did not discover this until we drove 30 miles home and began to assemble the bed set. However, the worst part of the experience was when we went back the next day to explain to the manager that he had given us the wrong pieces (some wood was cherry and some was a dark ash) he was EXTREMELY rude and argued with me for 15 minutes telling me that I was not given the wrong box. I had never been treated so poorly in a business and been called a liar. Particularly when I had pictures and brought pieces of the set to show him the color difference! He finally went in the back to look and, long and behold, there was the box I SHOULD have been given. I was completely appalled by the horrible service, unprofessionalism, and lack of common sense that I experience while dealing with...
