This is what it looks like when a community is genuinely committed to the environment and recycling. They were so helpful and kind to us befuddled newbies who showed up with 30 years worth of cables, old modems, various computer parts and god knows what else. We even checked the website and found we could bring our old flatscreen TV. Thank you to the very kind staff who were polite and friendly and got us rolling on in minutes. So, if you are moving, we suggest that you separate electronics from recyclables from unsalvageable trash from personal papers, and do what we did - stop at the shredding place, then the electronics, then the recycling and finally with your hopefully nearly-empty truck go to the dump.
