Received a mailer for this location with tons of promotional items for this new store/location. Stopped in on an early Sunday and was greeted warmly; at check in they scan your ID and then allow you to enter the shop. During check in I was asked to submit a review for a free product(1g preroll) and ask for my free 8th for new customers. Looks like things are going well until I entered and was “helped” by an associate.
I pull out my voucher and ask how many promos can be used at 1x (2 apparently) and let them know I’m not a smoker/ don’t partake but I’m purchasing set a up a bud bar at an event. I am also looking for edibles specifically, Gummies like sour strips and dark chocolate candies. I mention there was a promo on their website 1g preroll 20 for $20 and there is also a coupon that I have 15 for $10 - I asked what is the difference in the two products because all it says is 1g preroll, he responds one is $20 one is $15. Ok… so it’s not for me but I still would have liked a little more information about product quality, strength, etc.
When I asked about gummies I started describing something like a sour strip or sour patch kid.. blank stare. They were out of some of the promoted items and didn’t have anything to substitute them - and didn’t suggest anything equivalent. After getting a random assortment of Terp Talk and Time Travers 1g prerolls that he had to go back 3x to get I’m like what’s the best selling gummy that you have? (MKX) was the most popular flavor (Strawberry) - mistakenly he grabs the super sour version in another flavor. I say oh I thought you said you didn’t have anything that was sour?!… he picks a jar and packages my free 8th and recounts the prerolls.
When it’s time to checkout he rings me up and says oh I have to round up with credit cards. Ok, but there is no signage, I say “oh do yall prefer cash transactions” And he says yes. Then he rings me up again but this time for the items using the 15 for $10 coupon. He hands me cash as change for the transactions and puts the receipts in the bag. When I leave and look at my receipt, I see that I am charged an additional $3.50 transaction fee for each transaction. I could have just gotten cash and charge once at the onsite ATM.
Since this was my first time here (2nd time in a weed shop) and as I said I don’t smoke/partake I expected a little more assistance. It wasn’t busy when I arrived so they should have been Completely willing and able to answer any questions I had. You don’t have to be extra or chatty to still give good customer service; I just expect you to be knowledgeable about your products and upfront informing people what the transaction process is etc.
Despite my not so good experience, the positives were that there seemed to be great prices, clean store, and ample parking at...
Read moreI don’t usually write long reviews, but this one’s special — because the dispensary in question is owned and operated by my lifelong friend, Steve. Watching him turn his vision into a thriving, welcoming, and deeply positive space for our community has been nothing short of inspiring.
From the moment you walk into Steve’s dispensary, you can feel the difference. It’s not just the clean, well-organized layout or the thoughtfully curated selection of products — it’s the vibe. It’s warm, friendly, and totally judgment-free. Whether you’re a seasoned cannabis user or just exploring for wellness or relief, Steve and his team make everyone feel respected and comfortable.
What sets this place apart is that Steve built it with heart. He’s always believed in the power of plant medicine, and he’s done the work to ensure that his dispensary reflects integrity, education, and access. He goes above and beyond to bring in ethically sourced, high-quality products — and he genuinely cares about what his customers are putting into their bodies.
Having Steve’s dispensary around is more than convenient — it’s necessary. It’s a place of connection, empowerment, and healing. It brings jobs, education, and a sense of pride to the community. I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s built, and I truly believe every town should be lucky enough to have a Steve and a space like his. Steve was my first employer sooo many years ago and gave me some of the vision it took to build my own empire. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do yourself a favor — go visit. Ask questions. Learn something new. Support a local legend. You...
Read moreI got my medical marijuana card as soon as it was legal in michigan. I have been going to dispensaries since they were scattered around Detroit, all on the DL. I am not a n00b.
This is the first time that I had such an outstanding experience in a dispensary thatI felt the beer share it online. Even though Eleven Cannabis has a limited inventory (being a smaller dispensary), they stock the good stuff.
Sterling was my bud-tender, and he was kind, thoughtful, and this man knows his weed. I consider myself to be knowledgeable, but after trying what he suggested versus what I originally came for, I cannot deny that Sterling is The Weedmaster.
For example, Sterling knows that metal heating metal creates impurities that are carcinogenic to inhale; his disposable vape pen suggestion uses ceramic. He knew what was the best choice.
The whole environmental vibe in the dispensary was inviting, clean, and full of happy people who unabashedly celebrate the wonders of weed. Even the lady at the front desk was a joy.
And they take Debit Cards!!!!
You guys have a new loyal customer. Thank you!! (and friends, please don’t forget to bring a bit of cash so you can tip your bud-tender).
Update: Jackie is awesome! She is so kind and helpful, happy to take her time with you and look through products + ingredients. Her friendly and chill demeanor is exactly what I needed today....
