Update: changing from 2 to 3 stars after I spoke with one of the owners who was very nice and I appreciated she cares about her business and the customer service they provide. I’m not saying not to use this business because plumber wise I haven’t had a bad experience. Mistakes happen and can learn and grow from them but at the end of the day when something in a home is broken and there’s water all over my floor understandably that’s a stressful situation communicating with a client with dismissive and unfriendly way makes me pause in wanting to use the business in the future.
I used GPS for two properties on multiple occasions and never had a bad experience with the plumbers which is why I stayed on and continued using them as my local plumber but unfortunately the scheduler has me leaving their service and going elsewhere moving forward.
OG post : Got a text this morning that they were unable to call or reach me, I never got a call or a missed call. The girl was dismissive and said well you are on the phone now. Said my phone rang with no voicemail. Had my coworker, a client and my office line call my cell phone all the calls came through. So not sure if she just didn’t want to call so she sent a text to get a call back or the wrong number was dialed.
Offered a morning slot, said I would need after 2pm because I work until then, she said that they only come out for emergencies after that time and the last service appointment was between 1-3 and couldn’t guarantee it would be after 2pm…. I said ok no problem schedule me for the 1-3 time slot and I will just have to leave work early I work 10minutes from my house so it’s not a big deal. Read moreSad day! Tried to go local. From start to finish crazy experience. First arrived EARLY and unprepared. Needed to use my electric to charge equipment needed for call, which meant sitting around waiting 15-20 minutes for video camera to charge enough for use and then had to leave, didn't bring all necessary equipment with & returned hours later. After being charged $354. for the promised film, I then had to fight to receive the film, proof of reason for an astronomical $10,550.54 estimate. Not until I contacted credit card company to hold film funds was the video released to me. I'm also a small business in town trying to spend in the local economy. What an educational experience and a giant disappointment.

Read moreWhen we switched to tankless about 8 years ago, the system was giving an error code. The manufacturer gave us GPS as an authorized contractor, so we had them out to fix the system. Now we had another issue, most likely caused by our well water not having a softener, so we called GPS again. Not only did they get out here the first day and diagnose the problem with the system, but we were given options to just replace the board and have the balance of our warranty, or upgrade the whole unit which would give us another warranty, so we chose the latter. GPS was here by 8:15 and done by 11:30. The technician helped answer any questions I had, went over the cleaning procedure again with me, and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left.
