Los Chulos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Berlin Township

With so many choices for Mexican food in the area, it can be difficult to find one with great service, and delicious, authentic flavors.

I am so glad I decided to do another "Mexican food near me" search on Google. It brought me to Los Chulos Mexican Restaurant. Their reviews were high and consistent, in addition, the photos added by other customer made my mouth water!

With that, it was an easy decision to give them a shot. I was in a hurry and couldn't eat there, so I decided to order take out. The gentleman that answered the phone was kind, and, bi-lingual (awesome since my Español is poquito)

I ordered Birria Tacos, and I'm so glad I did. These tacos were packed with steamed beef and amazing flavors. The order came with 4 tacos, and with 2 different sauces, lime slices, radishes, cilantro, and fresh onion, also cucumber slices... and of course, a delicious beef consume to dip the tacos in... SHEESH-i was in Heaven.

If you are in the Berlin, Pine Hill, or South Jersey area and you are craving authentic Mexican food , give Los Chulos a try. You'll be glad you did, and you will help support a great small business who puts out fantastic food.

i got a chicken burrito because it looked really good in a picture i saw on google but i was very disappointed. i've been wanting to try for awhile and i was so disappointed in the lack of flavor especially for it to be a mexican restaurant. there was no salt or any type of savory flavors and there wasn't any spices. it was pure bland. after a few bites i had to stop because i wasn't enjoying it. after i was done eating there was nothing left on my taste buds that's how unseasoned it was. i barely could taste the beans and i thought there was supposed to be cheese but i didn't taste that either. the chicken was very dry and the rice was so plain smh. i wanted to support this small business and the reviews made me want to even more but it waste of $15 not even worth it. the cooks should definitely taste their food before serving it. i could have made this...

Exceptional authentic flavor filled home cooked food! I have NOT had such delicious Mexican meal since El Paso TX and TJ. The tacos are made with corn tortillas which if you don’t know, you MUST discover as the flavor is significantly better. The large size drink is insanely “LARGE”, evident by the photo lol. The tacos are packed nearly to the point of bursting with meat. Taco Tuesdays are an amazing way to give this family owned business your assessment. The prices easily beat others in the area but without compromising quality, flavor and quantity.

Oh and this is a BYOB!!!

I will be back as many Taco Tuesdays as I can. The hostess is extremely welcoming, detailed, professional and makes your day with her beautiful smile. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained.
