WOW... DO NOT GO HERE! Long story coming, but if you plan on going here, you should read.
I dropped and cracked my phone screen. Went here and they fixed it same day, but then I found out that night I could not make a phone call unless the phone was on speaker (not an issue before I took it in). I called and they said to bring in Saturday. I took it back in the following week (I live 30 mins away), and they did not have anyone to work on it, and to bring it back tomorrow. So, I went back the next day and they had my phone for 4 hours, and said it was fixed. Next day, screen started getting red lines in it. Had to take it back the next week and leave it overnight. Came back the next day and they said, sorry, need it another night (I called that day to confirm pick-up and they said yes). Next day they say the phone is not fixable (after I drive in AGAIN - 1 hour round trip). I was refunded the money I paid to date ($400). They said I could leave it and they would continue to try. I proceeded to get another phone as they said it was unlikely they could fix. They called 2+ weeks later and said they fixed it and to see if I could come in and get it. I went in Sunday and asked for balance ($107), so I paid and left.
Today, my wife and I both got SERIOUSLY THREATED by phone calls saying they have contacted the police and if I did not pay by 5pm I would be a felon and go to jail. WHAT THE?!?! They said I KNOWINGLY new how much I owed and stole the phone. They told me how much to pay when I was in the store!! I figured they gave me a break on the screen due to the 8 TIMES I went down there and they basically screwed up that phone (all that was wrong with it was a cracked screen, everything else worked fine before they had it). They guy even asked me what happened to it and I said a lot of things.
My wife and I are business owners and people have walked out because we made a mistake with billing. But guess what, we call back and politely tell them, whoops, our mistake, you actually owe $X, so sorry. I have NEVER experienced something like this. We did call them back and told them all this and they did cut us a break in the bill, so a small credit to them there, but that was only after we had to yell back at them for the inappropriate behavior and telling them we will inform everyone we know to...
Read moreI recently decided to stop by Quick Fix located at 200 Rt.73 West Berlin N.J. (Next to Home Depot) to see if they could repair my Motorola phone with no audio. The phone was in pristine condition and everything was functioning other than the audio. Both employees greeted me and after explaining to them what the problem was, they agreed that the phone speaker was bad and for a fee of $35.00 (CASH) they could repair the phone using the speaker from an identical spare phone which I provided them with. This spare phone with the good speaker was also a functioning phone, however the glass screen was cracked. After confirming that the speaker was working, they informed me to return in 2 hours for the phones. I returned after 2 hours and upon my arrival both employees advised me that the phone could not be repaired because the speaker was not the problem. When I questioned them about it, they were unable to provide a diagnosis and advised me that they were unable to repair the phone for the $35.00 fee they charged me. This phone still didn't have audio and in addition the camera on the phone which worked prior to their so called service was missing or damaged. The phone with the cracked screen which was fully functioning was no longer in working order and had extensive damage. The manager and owner identified as Bill informed me that they didn't realize that I wanted the Motorola phone with the cracked screen returned in working order. I informed them that I only authorized them to remove the speaker to replace the bad speaker in the other phone. This business is definitely shady in many ways, so consumers beware! Take your phones, tablets, etc. to a reputable facility that doesn't rip you off. There are plenty of them and some even offer a warranty. I learned my lesson and will never return here for any repairs or recommend them to friends, family, neighbors or work associates. NOTE: Don't waste your time posting a negative comment on their Facebook because they will delete it as soon as they see the post. I wonder why a company would edit out most of the negative feedback and only permit the positive comments that were documented to remain on...
Read moreHighly disappointing!! I brought my cell phone in to have the charging port repaired. The port wasn't working so I was using a wireless charger (which was slow). When I brought the phone in, it was fully functional aside from the issue with the port. The phone made calls, sent texts, went online, worked perfectly (aside from charging slowly). When I picked up the phone, the phone no longer can make calls, send texts or go online. Essentially the phone no longer works!! I brought in a functional phone for port repair and came out with a broken/useless phone. Instead of accepting responsibility, they told me it was an old phone and that they didn't cause the damage. Crazy!!! I brought in s functional phone and left with a phone that no longer works and they did not accept responsibility or provide a replacement or compensation. They only refunded what I paid,no extra. They denied causing the damage, didnt offer a replacement or any compensation. Unprofessional and wrong. If you damage someone's property, you replace it or offer compensation, not deny the fact that you damaged it. Not to mention, I was never warned of any risk with the port repair. As I said, I'm beyond disappointed with...
