Thank you so much to Captain Joe and his team for providing the best birthday gift to my dad! Dad is in a wheelchair and we tried wheeling him onto beach and was so difficult. Day one we were able to get his feet in the sand at the edge of the ramp. But day 2 which was dad’s actual birthday, the lifeguards were able to make dad’s bday wish come true which was to stick his feet in the ocean!!! They wheeled him down from the ramp to the water and waited while he laughed and enjoyed the waves from his chair. Water splashed up to his knees at one point and the giggle was beyond pure joy! They then set the whole family up with the best view and we all enjoyed for the next couple of hours. Dad had not been to the beach in ages and he had the best birthday! It couldn’t have happened without the Bethany beach patrol. They are the friendliest group we have ever met. We can not thank you enough for making dad’s dreams come...

I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for the incredible kindness and support you showed during our recent visit. My client, who uses a wheelchair, hasn’t been to the beach in years, and thanks to your amazing team, he was able to enjoy the sand and waves once again.

Every single lifeguard who helped went above and beyond from picking him up at the car to wheeling him all the way out to the water, and even bringing him back again when the day was done. It made things so much easier for us and allowed us to have a truly unforgettable experience that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy without you.
