I can't say it's the worst facial treatment because the lady who did my facial was kind and nice. All I can say is here is the worst customer service and worst experience I've ever had in LA. I wish I can give them 0 star. One of my eyes was irritated, swelling and red after the facial. I can barely open my eye right now and there is always tears coming down. I know it's not because of the allergy because I use the exactly same product at home. I assumed it is because of the gloves they were wearing is not clean or something else. So I called them to ask and the answer that I got from the manager is that I should go see a dermatologist instead of calling them. I did mention to the lady who did my facial that I just came back from Miami a week ago and that's why I wanted to come in and get a facial treatment. And then they use my trip as an excuse to blame me and said this might be the reason why my eye is irritated. Or it could because of the pimple above my eye causes this swelling and redness. Also she said, this spa can't help with skin problem since they are not doctors. You'd better to go see dermatologist if you have pimples on your face... If this is the case, this spa should tell all their customer to go see a dermatologist before come in here since they will definitely not be responsible for any bad results after their treatment. They will just tell you that your skin is not perfect enough to do a facial here. It's really not professional and disappointed. And yes, they did give me 10% off for my next massage here since I mentioned it. And the manager was very surprised and asked me that so you still want to come in to do facial in the future? It's ridiculous. And no, for sure I will never come back. The worst manager...
Read moreBeware and stay away from this spa. I’ve been to well over 1,000 spas around the world and the therapists Sydney and Regi were extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. From the beginning the massage started I knew it was not going to be good the therapist did not have soothing hands she didn’t use enough oil and her nails were actually digging into my skin. Rather than feeling relaxed I couldn’t get comfortable and I never said a word to her other than she could probably sense that I didn’t like her and I wasn’t enjoying the treatment. She abruptly ended the massage and said she was going to get someone else to finish the treatment. Which I was relieved because she was horrible. Bad vibes, not a good touch, and just weird. Both masseuse left the room and we were told the massage was ending early. Instead of being greeted by a manager or another staff member we were then not told what was going on and standing outside the spa lobby was security. It is by far the weirdest and most unfortunate and unprofessional spa. Leaving having a panic attack, confused, and actually more stressed and upset. The customer service and team members at the front were just as confused but more worried about clocking out then making sure we left happy and calm. As that is what most spas are for. Amanda the spa director is not very educated and clearly has no idea how to run a spa or staff. Go to the Beverly Wilshire for a spa treatment there customer service and masseuses will exceed your expectations and you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated as you should leave a spa. The Waldorf hotel and this spa do not compare. The service, the staff, and overall treatment of there customers is worse than anywhere...
Read moreBooked a 90 minute massage along with a couple girlfriends to celebrate a bday. On the website it said that the steam room and showers wouldn’t be available. That was disappointing but we were ok with it going in. What we didn’t know was that midway through our treatments they would be hammering and cutting through stone nonstop in the steam room. It was so loud and disruptive, like it was being done in my room. It continued like this until we left. When we were checking out I asked the guy what the hell was going on. He said they were fixing the steam room and when I made a comment about how horrible it was to listen to and not exactly the relaxing atmosphere you expect when spending all that money on a massage, he made a snarky comment in a condescending tone of “ well we need to make it safe for you”. That’s fine and dandy but you should close the spa for this kind of work! He said they called and told everyone it would be getting done which is absolutely not true. None of us got a call. If we did, we would have rescheduled or gone elsewhere (also when we were waiting in the lobby for our friend I heard him take a call for a booking and he mentioned steam room wasn’t available but didn’t say anything about the construction!). The guy gave us all $100 off our treatments. It still cost $350 with the tip, I wouldn’t have paid $20 for that massage had I...
