I went to the Lasky Aesthetic Center in search of a remedy for the hyperpigmentation on my face, I am 34 years old and the regular facials just weren’t enough anymore. A few of my girlfriends have been loyal clients at Lasky and their skin always looks so radiant and youthful, I decided it was my turn. I consulted with their nurse practitioner, Diane, who listened to me explain my skin issues and concerns. After a thorough skin examination, she was confident in the plan she presented to give me my desired results. I appreciated that she recognized this was going to be a process and not a one-time fix, other skin specialists I have consulted with gave me the impression they could fix my skin with one treatment which is just not realistic.

It has been two months since I started treatments at Lasky Aesthetics and I have been extremely pleased with my results! The hyperpigmentation has really lightened from a combination of the “Clear and Brilliant” laser and topical products recommended for both pre and post laser treatment. In addition to improvement in my skin’s tone, its texture feels so smooth to the touch, the pores on my nose and chin are much less noticeable and the skin around my mouth feels so much tighter! I was red and had a bit of swelling in my cheeks for about five days but it was subtle enough that I could go to work and be out in public. I felt very comfortable in the hands of Lasky’s P.A. Casey who performed my laser treatment; she is extremely experienced and talked me through the whole process.

She paid $350 for a light green peel with extractions and LED, and her face is now irritated, red , has dot like cuts from where some of the extractions were done and has a rash-like appearance all over.

She was not told about a $50 consultation fee upon booking 3 weeks earlier, and was only told about the fee when she called with an inquiry the day before the appointment. She called to inquire about pricing on more than one occasion and the receptionist said the facials start at $180, but wouldn’t give the cost on specific services. That should’ve been her first clue. You can ask any other place how much a specific peel costs and they’ll tell you.

She said the laser consultation with Casey felt rushed. When the facialist named Molly came to get her she called her a completely different name. How professional. Molly also said she would give my sister her personal email for any inquiries, which she didn’t end up doing, but said if she didn’t ask questions “pertinent to what we’re doing” she wouldn’t respond. What questions would she ask besides questions relating to products and treatments for her skin. Both the laser consultation with Casey and the facial with Molly started well after the scheduled appointment.

Also, reputable companies usually call to follow up with a patient after a service, but she has yet to receive one....

I had the pleasure of meeting with Ana who is board certified aesthetic nurse specialist,who is truly a successful professional in her field. Her expertise and knowledge were evident as she provided a gentle and consultative approach during our session. Ana understood exactly what I needed to refresh my skin and was conservative in her approach to cosmetic treatments. She kept me well-informed about the newest products and ensured that I had a thorough understanding of the procedures.

Not only is Ana incredibly knowledgeable, but she is also warm, kind, and attentive. Her thoroughness in explaining the treatments and addressing any concerns I had made me feel confident in her abilities.
