I will never shop in this store again!! I went in one evening to look for a bra and some eyeliner for a date later, and overheard an older cashier telling a younger/newer cashier as I walked by that they needed to watch out for me. I thought that odd, but I was wearing some bright funky patterned palazzo pants and a pretty furlined sweater, all dressed up for a date [so I wasn't looking all bummy or 'suspicious']. I watched them watching me after not finding a bra, as I wandered over to make up department. It was very uncomfortable. My hands never left my pockets to ensure they couldn't accuse me of stealing. I couldn't find anything I wanted and was becoming increasingly more and more uncomfortable under their intensely suspicious scrutiny. I went to the bathroom and was followed in by the older cashier who bursted through my stall door, I was in handicap stall as I am disabled. She pretended to have accidentally popped in mistaking the stall for 'empty' [how that's even remotely possible since she followed me in 10 seconds after I got into bathroom, into stall and had just sat down to begin urinating. ] She frightened the hell out of me! Upon seeing that I was on the toilet, she apologized and skipped into the next stall. The younger cashier followed behind about 20 seconds after that, pretending to clean the sinks. The older cashier finished using bathroom and quickly left leaving the younger one behind. I came out of the stall to watch the young cashier bolt into the stall I just came out of to search the trash can, right in front of me!! I washed my hands as the young cashier came out, checked the other trash can beside me and then tried to strike up a casual conversation asking me how I was and if I had found everything I was looking for ok. I replied that I was ok but that I wasnt able to find what I was looking for but it wasn't a big deal since I would never shop here again after this experience and walked out the door. The older cashier was hiding in the women's clothing department just outside bathroom door pretending to be busy as I left the store. It was by far the oddest and most uncomfortable shopping experience...

Oh but as I was watching, who'm ever the guy manager at the front was. He kept saying hi to other customers and asking them how they were. All he did was stare at me as he kept walking by. Yes walking by and then stood at the jewelry counter talking to the associate too. Ok i'm heavy and my days off I like to dress down but don't ignore me. I'm a manager at another retail store and i'll tell you, my associates great everyone. I felt discriminated and un welcomed. I felt like he thought I was going to steel something at the way he kept staring at me. I am not impressed at all! I spend way too much money there 300 at a time to be exact and deserve better treatment! We are all human he should not be...

Search and dig like a ferret in a rabbit hole. You will find treasure if you search hard enough, I promise you this. I once overheard a snippet of conversation where a woman was telling her friend, "I'm not fashion savvy enough to shop at Kohl's."
Kohl's has been underrepresented for far too long. If you're creative, you can look better coming out of Kohl's than any mainstream clothing retailer. You just have to be the ferret in the rabbit hole. Find your treasure, you...
