Kind of disappointed. (05/31/25) This was my first time at the Birch Run location—and our first time hearing about Cops and Robbers Ice Cream. When we walked in, there was no greeting or welcome from the staff—just silence as we browsed the options. A simple “hello” would’ve gone a long way in making us feel acknowledged. After ordering and heading outside, we each took a few bites of our different flavors and immediately noticed a freezer-burned taste and texture. It just wasn’t good. I actually considered asking for a refund (rarely do for anything), which we never done for ice cream before—but we decided not. Visited this place for ice cream on Friday with a close friend and the service was uncomfortable and horrible. The shop only had one older male worker who was not pleasant at all, seemed disgruntled about sharing samples and slammed an ice cream cup on the counter to show his impatience toward us. I hope his attitude was not towards the color of our skin.. we put back a few other items after it felt like our service and time wasn’t respected. Don’t think twice, just go!!! The most awesome ice cream shop I’ve visited in a long time and I love ICE Cream. Real cream. I could taste the butter in the butter pecan. So many pecans you may think you are eating a pie. The store smells so sugary sweet. Old fashion candies. Portion sizes are big. You can find unusual gift ideas here also.
