Anthropologie — Local services in Birmingham

On 29 Oct 21, while in B’ham, I took a trip to The Summit and went to Anthropologie; it was b/t 10 - 10:15a. I walked in and 2 white young associates were at the counter - neither one said a word. As I began to walk around the door opened and 2 white women walked in and I heard “good morning, how are you & let me know if I can assist you.” I thought to myself, no one said a word as I entered the store. I continued to walk around looking for a particular item or two but still to no avail, unable to find, so I decided it was time to leave. As I walked to the front, another white female walks in & is greeted by now one of the associates. I look a the white associate in disgust and head towards the door. She looks at me - as to ASSUME, I can’t afford anything in the store - and says “have a nice day.” I held up my L hand and gave her a friendly gesture 🖕🏾and walked out. Anthropologie or any other retail store, you must do better b/c these associates represent you. Not unless I am to understand, this is a practice that you offer & you will never have to worry about me stepping inside another one of your retail stores again. You probably don’t care, but hopefully enough will read this post & take a stand! People will treat you how you allow them to treat you.

DO NOT order anything online and expect it to get shipped on the date it states it will be shipped. I ordered a dress. Called on the date the dress was supposed to arrive only to find it had not been shipped. Discovered the address was entered incorrectly (my fault) and could not be fixed. Once you place the order, no edits can be made. So i canceled the order. I needed it on the date it was supposed to arrive. Guess what! You can't cancel the order. NO EDITS! So, it was shipped...undeliverable. No tracking has been available. And they are telling me that I absolutely cannot receive any type of refund until the item appears at their location. ONE MONTH LATER!!!!!!!!! AND THEY WILL DEDUCT MY SHIPPING CHARGES FROM THE REFUND IF I EVER EVEN GET A REFUND!!! And also, don't expect them to respond to any...

If I could put zero stars, I would. Walked in and it seemed like everyone, guests included, started with the stares. It was like a scene from GET OUT. Walked around a bit and noticed a black employee was sent to follow us around. I told my crew, we're not doing this, and decided to leave.
