My experience with this company has been horrible from the moment I purchased this piece. Not only was my couch several months late getting here but started to tear almost instantly. The cushions started to sink in as well. The large separation you see in the seems started off very small. I had purchased the extra coverage bc I have children and just assumed it would be worth having coverage on a $8,000 piece of furniture. I started my claim over a year ago. They would email every few months or so to follow up by asking for more pictures. I would send the appropriate photos then silence. Naturally the tear got larger and larger. I still have this tear in my couch. Now, keep in mind. The tear isn’t the only issue. The fabric immediately started to bead, the threads are popping out all over and if you open the back rest cushions the fabric is in shredded. Of course they are claiming this is normal. I have a couch I purchased from west elm about five years ago. It’s our main couch. It’s used all day every day. The seats spring up as if it was purchased yesterday. The fabric looks great. No beading, no seem separation, no threading it’s perfect. I also only paid 5,000 and it still came with custom fabric. I too am a business owner. If someone came to me and said the couch was falling apart I would want to do right by them insuring they had a smooth return or replacement so that they would come back. (I live in Florida and reached out to Arhaus for design help a few weeks before our local shop opened.) We had put off the completion of furnishing our living room for several years (waiting until our young children got a bit older and less destructive). I appreciate the design assistance provided by Kelly and Zach because it helped me to see ‘out of the box’, and new potential in my living room. Read moreWe spent over $10,000 on May 31 on our new furniture. We had to call them to schedule for delivery last week. We were told that the delivery date is 7/21/2017, but no one has contacted for this matter. I have called them multiple times, but was on hold for more than 30 minutes and still unable to speak to a live person. We called the store, and was told it would be next week. They just lost another good account.
