Crestwood Pickers — Local services in Birmingham

Well, that was an absolute waste of my Saturday afternoon. Drove a half hour out of my way, got to the store and no one was in front explaining the ticket process to (I'm assuming) win some kind of prizes or discounts. I got there only 2 hrs after they opened and they were already out of mimosas and barely even had any wine left. Waited in line 10 mins just for that before shopping.

Strolled around an hour and a half, because it's fairly large, and only came out with three items to the register. Waited in line another half hour, got to the cashier, and he kept asking me, "Where's the ticket?" How the heck should I know? I'm not the vendor. He said he'd need the ticket with the vendor number on it, so guess what? I got a free, cheap glass of chardonnay out of it all and told him to just keep the items and put em back. It took me over an hour on my weekend to find them in the first place. You think I'm gonna go searching for the vendor's booth (all 3 were from different booths) and wait in line to check out all over again? Heck no.

I realize this is opening day, but if yall require people to have tags on the items, then that should've been discussed with the vendors well in advance. Just seems like this place is a logistical nightmare. Was gonna take a pretty purse home to my mom when I visited next weekend but guess not. I will say most of their prices are fairly reasonable, but that's only if the thing you want has a tag on it in the first place so you can make...

Absolutely love coming here. Places clean and well organized and air conditioned making for a pleasant experience. Oftentimes booths have sales going to save you an extra buck or two. As with any antique or picker store, make sure you're not overpaying for something disguised as an antique that is sold at every Walmart in Target in the country. Very friendly staff and...

I've been to 4 of the Pickers locations and this is a very nice one. It has a large selection of items ranging from new to antique and handmade. The store is big and clean. You aren't tripping over things and it's well organized. Some things are a bit pricey but others are well priced. We will...
