I had a great experience working with Mark and JoAnne on a VERY last minute wedding reception dinner after our original, big reception party fell through. They were extremely flexible and easy going. We ended up using the space for our family-only ceremony followed by a 30-person dinner reception.
The space itself is very pretty with large windows, an exposed brick wall, rustic flooring, marble bar, and exposed kitchen. The wall opposite the exposed brick is a clean white, so the space is neither too busy to decorate nor too plain if you'd rather not.
I would recommend this space to anyone hosting an intimate event. You could certainly fit more than 30 guests here, but it was nice that the space didn't feel too big or empty for our crowd.

I have left voicemails as well as emails and it’s been nearly a month. I see all the beautiful reviews and my mind ponders; I wonder why I can’t get a response back. I am an event planner that host a bountiful amount of events for different clients throughout the Birmingham and surrounding areas. I guess they are just very selective in the renting of their venue. Read moreOur group had an AMAZING time at Meet on Morris! We attended a private dinner where Chef Adam (owner of Join Together Catering) prepared four amazing courses with wine pairings! We got to sit at the bar and watch him work while eating, drinking, and enjoying our friends and family! It was a great location- beautiful, clean bathrooms, easy parking, and a view of the train passing by! 10/10 would have any corporate or family event here! And ask for Chef Adam to make the MOST...
