I go to purchase a Hestan skillet that was listed online as available for pick up in store "today". So it's there, as foretold by the internet... underneath the display, with a price tag and barcode on the bottom and wrapped around the handle. The display above (with the same skillet I have in my hand) was quite beautiful, although was happened next, isn't. I am quickly informed that the skillet I had intended to purchase was actually a "display unit". I questioned the reasoning behind having a bar code and price on a product that is not on display and having it listed as display in the computer. They just quote some store policy and say they can ship it 2 months from now even the instapot that said was available, so I left empty handed, ordered the instapot from Amazon, and backordered the skillet direct from the manufacturer, instead.
