Upon entering the door, I was immediately captivated by the decor; it felt like I had entered a scene from a sci-fi show. The clever arrangement of vibrant, colored light against warm, darkened backdrops really sucks in your attention. Sitting at the bar, bathed in warm golden light at your legs below and blue light from the bar and the bottles gives an ethereal and mystical feeling to the simple act of sitting at a bar. I could write a whole review entirely about how pleasing the decor was, but I'll get on with it. The staff was helpful every time I needed anything. The food was top-notch, and they had an impressive selection including sushi, hibachi, and Thai cuisine. I had the swordfish hibachi at my most recent visit and I was impressed with the flavors and textures from the meal. No vegetable was over-cooked, no cold center in the fish, no toughened rice or noodles. Chef seems to know what's good in his kitchen. You won't wait long for your food to arrive, and even if you do, at least you'll get to enjoy the comfortable ambience of the restaurant's interior for just a little longer. Made reservations for Valentines day. We were going to have the special that they had offered. Once we got there we realized they didn't have a clue. We were seated and never once were asked about the special. I guess there really wasn't a special. After 10 minutes they took our order. We got our salads/soup in a reasonable time. After 30 minutes of waiting for our food and no one checking on us. We stopped our server and asked about our food. Got the "Oh its coming response". I think our food went elsewhere. Problem with the service here is some of the servers don't understand English very well or speak it much. Just a Fact!. They have to ask others as to what to do. After 15 more minutes we asked for our check. I had had enough. Finally after 1 hour after our salads, we were told that what we received was free. The people next to us had been there 20-30 minutes and were still waiting for their drinks when we left. Food is great if you get it. Just don't go on a busy day. POOREST SERVICE in town. The food was wonderful from the hibachi grill and the gentleman cooking it was wonderful. That’s the best I can say about the entire experience. The people sitting beside us had a staple in their salad. We had ordered a beverage that took them at least 30 minutes to bring and then it was the wrong drink. The second time they brought the beverage took just as long and again was the wrong thing and in a broken glass that was leaking everywhere. We had to flag down a different waitress because ours never came back to see if we needed anything and she got us a new drink that was finally correct. The waitress was never seen again.
