We walked in originally looking for job applications. When we walked in we were greeted warmly and everyone had welcoming smiles on their faces. I wandered a bit because I hadn't been to an office depot for a while. I looked around for a few moments and saw the printers. I remembered that I needed printer ink and started on a mission to find it. I was with my fiance and a friend at the time. My fiance found a wonderful gentleman who looked a little busy with another task. We asked him where the ink was at and he immediately stopped what he was doing and helped us out. Unfortunately we didn't get his name but he had short blondeish red hair, a tattoo or two and a beard. He showed us where the ink was at and pointed us to Kathy who was behind the counter if we had any questions. We looked for another moment or two trying to figure out what ink we needed for our printer. (Kind of a weird brand and ink.) Kathy asked if we needed help. We explained the situation and she immediately started looking up what ink we may need for our printer. She showed us the ink she thought may work for our printer and the different options she had. At check out she assured us that if it didn't fit or work we could bring it back and exchange it. She even took her time to get us set up with the rewards program (I didn't even know there was one) and even helped us out with the discount for that! The store was so clean and tidy. I will definitely be comming back again to get more ink when I need to and maybe other items as well. 10/10!!!...
Read moreive out of town and several weeks later when I went to use them realized I had the wrong color. 1st attempt to exchange was told no receipt/ or I bought two boxes of ballpoint pins but by mistake picked up blue rather then black. I lover 30 days no return. So I left but thinking about good customer service went back couple weeks later and asked for a manager. He agreed to exchange for black. I was pleased & also purchased an office chair floor mat @ 94.99. I even told the manager that I would continue to make OF my primary office supplier. Also told him we were in the market for 2 new office chairs & I would be back. When I got home & looked at my return ticket I was given credit of 6.00 for the return pins but charged 19.99 for the new ones. That is a 70% restocking charge. I returned a 3rd. time to question the high of a restock charge and was told that was OD policy. I did tell the employee that I could understand a restock chrg. normal is 10 to 15%. But 60%? OD spends millions to get new customers but ruins a good customer relationship for for $13. I had 2 items I wanted to get that day, but I just left. I will not say that I will never be back but OD will not be my 1st go to place. 2 to 3 dollars restock charge would have been fine. $13...
Read moreExtremely disappointed after multiple visits. Terrible communication stills. Upon multiple occasions I have had to leave the store and come back because the staff on the floor could not assist me and the manager on duty had zero urgency to come out of the back office.
Pricing on printing definitely varies depending on who is working the copy and print center. Never consistent with pricing, timeline, and pick up location. As stated above I have had to come back multiple times to pick up my order due to poor leadership and the inability to communicate where print orders for pick up are located.
Team definitely needs to work on professionalism as well as communication with each other as well as customers.
Would never recommend for any printing needs instead use FLASH PRINTING they are locally owned and have outstanding...
