The employees have always been great. The building itself is older, not quite "run down" but it's definitely past it's prime years... by a lot.
The prices are higher than places like Walmart but what would you expect from a locally owned grocery store?
It doesn't cut into your wallet as bad as places like Fred Myers, and they have a modest selection of most things you'd need for daily living.
All in all I think it's a great place to shop to support the local community as well as get good food.

I was there about 3:45pm and the cashier lady I had didnt greet but greeted the lady behind me instead. She didn’t say a single word to me. I was very offended and think she needs to greet the customer in front of her and not the one behind me just because she knows them. Sum years ago the electricity in town went out, everything was black, no light except the 🌙.... Everything was closed. Walmart, all the fast food chain's everything..... Everything, except for Kessler's. You would walk in and they would hand you a flashlight at the door, and they would do everything by hand with calculators even the credit card machine they had one of the old-style credit card machines that didn't require electricity.
