Java Espress — Restaurant in Blackfoot

Went to get drinks before dinner. 2 vehicles were on each side of the building as we pulled up one car left so I went to that side the time was 6:45pm on Sunday. We sat and waited for our turn. They close at 7:00pm on Sunday. We waited till just after 7 when the car in front of us got their drinks and pulled away. Since it was our turn and we had been waiting in line for just over 15 minutes we pulled forward to order to be informed they close early on Sundays so I asked what time since online said 7 the girl at the window stated that was right they close at 7. I politely let her know we had been waiting in line since before 7 about 15 minutes we had waited. The girl rolled her eyes in annoyance and with a rude tone tapped the screen in front of her while she said if I get in trouble I get in trouble, then even more annoyed while rolling her eyes again said what can I get you. Why at this point would we have ordered anything? To wait 15 minutes then have a java employee be rude because it took till 7 for the SUV in front of us to get their drinks was pretty inappropriate if you ask me. We go there alot and usually place a large order between $20-30 worth as we buy.drinks for our whole bunch and we always tip fairly well $5-10 each visit. I think the employee could be a bit nicer next time and if they aren't going to serve any cars after a certain one put out a cone behind the last car to be served or at least shut the open sign off. We tried to give this location another shot today. Ordered a blended jack Frost. Wasn't asked if I wanted cream on it, just got it without. Which wasn't a huge deal. But it tasted horrific! No peppermint taste at all and it had a sour taste. My daughter thought it was being dramatic so she tried it and spit it out the window.

So I went back around and gave it back to them and paid another almost $7.00 to get a regular mocha because it seems to be the only drink this location can get right. And not even a single word about the other drink tasting bad. Huge waste of money!

Ordered two pumkin variety coffees. One was good, the other tasted 100% like black coffee. I called on my way to work in Idaho Falls where I'm working super late tonight and won't be back until after they close. The refused to make it right because I couldn't make it back today. Plus the manager wouldn't even talk to me herself. As a manager in the service industry myself, I know that this is a horrible way to handle a situation. Stopped in IF to buy another one and they were AMAZING and made me the exact same thing and it was wonderful! Generally I like to support Blackfoot because it's where I live. I haven't ordered here before but my parents have gotten me drinks from the IF stores. Normally my drinks are really good. My girlfriend and I were confused on how to order so we asked what size the large is. The person told us it was 24oz for iced drinks. Three of our drinks were iced so we told them we were going to just do large for all even the hot knowing the hot one would be smaller. When given our drinks two of them were way larger than 24oz and one was actually 24oz. When tasting our coffees the Snickers one has a sour butter taste. I've had this drink before in IF so I know what it's supposed to taste like and this isn't it. There is a weird sour taste, and I have to question if their products are expired. My shots were burnt so bad you can smell it before even drinking. The Black walnut we got also had sour burnt shots. The person at the window was confusing and she didn't help clarify anything. It makes me sad because I'm visiting Idaho and was craving Java since where I live doesn't have it only to be disappointed.
