BEWARE The largest scammers in dupage county. I brought my imac in for a disk failure and they told me that it was free diagnostic on the phone before i brought in . Ofcourse when my wife dropped off the computer it was a different story. She had to pay 60 dollar fee that would go toward repairs. 5 days later we received a call saying that my disk was wiped and that they have to run a data recovery for 200$ level one ofcourse. Meaning when it didnt work there are several other levels that wont work either until u pay 3k. In disbeleif i told them ok do a data recovery. I waited another week for them to tell me they only could salvage bits and pieces. And that they charge another 200$ for them to reinstall my installation disk? So i declined there offer because i knew that my imac does not need an installation disk. It is all done online through disk utility. So i had my wife pick of my imac while as work and guess what! The nightmare continues. She told me that they didnt give her a power cord. So i called and ofcourse they told me i never gave them one? They said that i could purchase one for them for 50$!!! Wow. In complete anger i told them that i wanted to check there camera footage to see if they were lying. He then told me he would call me back . Sure enough he called back an hour later and said that i did bring one but they cany find it? Then he had the nerve to tell me if i wanted to drive to them and pick up a new one for free! Let me remind you i live 18 min away. Omg people please save your money and do not do data recovery. Its a scam . I ended up connecting my imac to another imac with a thunder bolt cable backed up all my data then wiped drive and reinstalled osx on drive with no installation disk!!! I fixed my computer all bymyself. All my data was there!! My disk was never wiped. I never needed an installation disk and all they did was steal my power chord and take 250$ thanks tech voo for nothing. Oh and remeber they said they salvaged bit n pieces on my mac!! Well i guess that was a lie too. I never recieved and...
Read moreMy laptop wouldn't power on so I googled computer repair, saw the high ratings, and gave a call. A++ customer service. The guy on the phone (Jeff I think) listened calmly while I explained the problem, asked 2 or 3 questions including whether I had traveled or had it in the cold overnight (I had), and then solved the problem in a couple steps in about 3 minutes. He also gave a few tips and explained what happened so I can prevent the problem from happening again. And he did that cheerfully and for free, when I've never even been a customer before. I told him I will be in the future. I highly recommend...
Read moreI called because Windows was not loading on my computer. I initially spoke with HP Support and because my computer was past their one year warranty, they wanted $60 to talk over the problem on the phone.
After getting guided through safe mode by one of Fast On-Site's representatives, I was able to have my computer running again in under ten minutes. Polite service, no charge, and very friendly. And now my computer is running again in time for finals. Despite this being a seemingly small tech issue, I would highly recommend this company for any...
