Culver’s — Restaurant in Bloomingdale

Update: now they put the pint of ice cream in the same bag as the hot food.

Longtime fans of the franchise and we were glad to see this new location but we’ve had more than a few issues. Tonight we had three in one meal. First, the server bringing out our food forgot the salad and had to be reminded and they quickly brought it out. Then we realized the burger wasn’t dressed as we had ordered and had to ask for packets of condiments to fix it. Then I realized that my grilled chicken patty was cold. It had been cooked through, but apparently then refrigerated and not warmed up before serving. They quickly apologized and promised to bring out a fresh one, which took several minutes more but did eventually come out.

Several weeks ago, as part of filling out the Culver's survey, I receive a free scoop of ice cream, also a free topping. I been to many Culver's, all of them individually owned as franchises. This Culver's gave me a problem(Lia), Lia wanted to charge me .70 for the free topping(Which I have never paid at any Culver's ). I am not cheap, I just spent $16 that day. This Culver's Lia treated me & my Mom(90 years old) like she's our boss instead as customer's. So, I complained to corporate Culver's, I talked to the person in charge of this particular Culver's. The person became ballistic over phone to me, moreless defending her employee & defending the .70 charge.I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CULVER'S, & I question eating at any...

Staff at this particular location are second to none as far as being friendly. They are always cheerful, upbeat and very welcoming! I'm happy to come spend money where I'm treated well and the food is great. My favorite is the mushroom Swiss burger and the frozen custard is delicious 😋 Never ever had anything less than stellar service here. Food comes out hot and fresh and delicious every time. In my opinion this is the best location in the area. I eat here at least once a month. The strawberry shakes are also peak. They taste like fresh strawberries and cream.
