Win Wok — Restaurant in Blue Ash

CAUTION! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My wife and I ordered and my wife repeated our order 3 times. General tso chicken, Kung pow chicken extra sauce and chicken, and chicken nuggets(for my two year old) The lady on the phone repeated the order back and my wife had to say, yet again, and chicken nuggets. They lady said yes and the wait would be 40 minutes. 80 minutes later our food arrived (we checked on where it was by phone after 70 minutes) No chicken nuggets and the general tso had the extra sauce and chicken my wife called to complain; the manager interrupted and argued with her telling her that she was wrong. My wife frustrated hung up. I called immediately after the manager was nice to me considering he yelled at my wife 20 seconds prior. He told me I was wrong and there was no way to put more chicken in their containers. I asked then why did they charge us extra and where were the chicken nuggets? He told me they charged me because we asked for extra (which they couldn't do) and he would drop the delivery charge to send out nuggets but that was it. I told him don't bother and that we would...

Wish there was lower than one star. My family and I have been ordering Winterwalk for several years and all have always been happy with the outcome of our orders. However, tonight we had a late night order parentheses 8:45 PM and I had ordered sweet-and-sour chicken, and an order of coconut shrimp for my son. When it arrived, the white rice and sweet-and-sour chicken was fine, however, the coconut shrimp was absolutely horrendous. There is nowhere on their website that says their coconut shrimp contains mayonnaise or egg. In fact, the picture shows a beautifully glazed shrimp with coconut. What we received was fried shrimp, mixed in about a cup of mayonnaise, pure mayonnaise. There was no coconut whatsoever to be seen. luckily I had tasted this before my son who has an allergy to eggs. This shrimp was smothered in what can only be described as McDonald’s mayonnaise how upsetting for a restaurant that we considered wonderful for the last several years to have such a downfall. While the food is pretty good - I have to say we've been disappointed in Win Wok more than once. They need to hire someone to appropriately manage this restaurant. Deliveries are consistently an issue - though the food is hot so I don't believe it is a driver issue. Have had single orders take longer than an hour and have ordered on-line, got a confirmation e-mail and then called an hour and a half later for them to say they never got the order. In an attempt to get around this issue - today I ordered very early and specified a delivery time - which they were 25 minutes early for. I also specifically asked for sauce packets for my egg roll and got none. Only reason I gave this place a 3 star rather than 2 is their food is their only saving grace. Even though Szechuan House doesn't deliver to us - I'd much rather get in the car and pick up our food there than deal with this...
