First let me say that this store has THE CUTEST style of clothes and the store is very clean and well put together!!! The patterns are beautiful and there is a very large selection of them! During a recent visit to Blue Ridge, my daughter fell in love with the look in this store one day. To surprise her, I took her back the next day and told her to pick out any dress she wanted. After trying on about 8-10 different dresses, we walked away empty handed. Some were simply not her style which is expected, but the biggest issue was finding a dress that 1- didnāt have a tear, 2- didnāt have a broken zipper, and 3-had proper lining so that it would not be see through. While she was trying dresses on, I was also looking for others for her and ran in to the same issue- finding a dress without a defect. There was also another customer there at the same time actively speaking to one of the clerks about a tear in a dress she had just found. Also, the dressing room curtains should be wider so that one cannot simply walk past and see parts of the body of the person changing. I totally expected to pay for it, and was standing there holding it in hand waiting to ask someone what their policy was (this was a voluspa candle - I buy them frequently so I know theyāre not cheap) and the completely rude staff member looks at me and goes āyouāre going to have to buy that.ā I assumed so, but she could have just said āIām so sorry but our policy is XYZā but instead was super RUDE and assumed the worst. Great example of - itās not what you say, itās how you say it. I was so shocked I said something like āIām not sure why youād have them displayed like thisā to which she literally laughed at me. I actually expected to shop around and would have bought a few more things (I was specifically in the market for that brand of candle because I normally can only buy them online) and had the staff been even remotely friendly/cool about the situation I would have paid for the broken candle and along with others. I was in town for a rafting trip and did a little shopping in this beautiful town. I bought two bracelets at Juliana's, spending over $77. The first time I wore one of the bracelets, the very next week, it broke. I called and spoke to an associate, and told her about the issue, and advised her that I still have my receipt and would like a replacement or a refund. She admitted she would have to speak to the manager and call me back. This same scenario went on for several weeks, talking with different associates including Emily and Victoria. I requested the owner reach out to me and I was always given an excuse as to why they could not talk to me or why my request for a refund could not be granted (owner out of town, no longer have that style bracelet, etc.) Needless to say, nobody has ever contacted me back as they promised and I still have a broken bracelet.
