We live in Atlanta and drove up to Blue Ridge for the day and we happened to stumble upon this little gem in the heart of downtown. The moment we walked into this cozy little wine bar, we were greeted to live tunes by a talented singer(sorry forgot his name – he had on a Rush TShirt😊) on his guitar playing some of yesterdays best hits that complimented the ambience of this venue to a tee. We were quickly seated by Michelle – she was warm and welcoming, pretty and funny! She was super attentive and made really good recommendations from the menu. Soon after, the owner LeAnne stopped by to say hello and made sure we were being taken care of. She even treated us to a complimentary “big pour” glass of wine. Wow so friendly…so generous! Love this place and the people! We intended to stop by for a glass of wine and instead spent the entire afternoon there…what a great experience!!! We had so much fun we are planning to go back up there next Saturday! Do not think twice – Stop in here if you enjoy great wine...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. I can only speak on MY EXPERIENCE. The owner Michelle is extremely rude and has no regard for customer service.I'm not sure if this establishment use to black people, but initially she refused to service a party of 10 it's on the door. I stated if it was possible for 2 parties of 5 she agreed. She said just sit at the bar instead so we agreed to sit at the bar. The purpose of this establishment was the flight of wine experience. She yelled at My friend to get off the phone as she takes a photo. She made jokes that were not okay. For ex: did you guys come last year you look like the same group from last year. She made a joke that she was gonna get beat up for mistaken who purchased the wine!!! I'm not disregarding anyone's else desire to attend this establishment, however my experience as a black woman was the worst experience. This made me emotional as I was excited to come but I was disappointed in...
Read moreWould have done zero stars if I could. The description of the food on the menu is very far from what you actually get. My friend ordered a black and bleu flatbread and no bleu cheese. Another friend ordered the Dixie flatbread that was supposed to have bbq sauce...no bbq sauce was on there. Also, was waiting to use the restroom and saw the “chefs” eating some of the nuts out of the bag before placing them on the “charcuterie” board for another customer. The service was average at best. Asked what beer was on tap and they said a hoppy one. I asked if it was an IPA, she said yes, it was not. Still not sure what it was as she didn’t know the name, but my best guess is a brown ale. It did taste good though. Other than the surprise beer, terrible food, below average service, if visiting and tempted to try due to the nice menu and lovely storefront I suggest you keep walking. Avoid...
