Target — Local services in Boardman

This particular Target is one of the worst Targets I have shopped at. Often the store is low on or don't have any carts available, especially double carts. With two kids this is imperative for all of us to remain sane and make it more than 2 minutes in the store. I've had to wait several minutes for a cart before which is unacceptable. EVERY time I have been in the store there has been pallets of stock blocking aisles in the baby section making it difficult to impossible to get through. Last, on this particular trip the cashier refused to let me use a coupon. I had purchased 3 toothpastes. I had a coupon for each (2 paper coupons and 1 from your app and they were all the identical coupon). I wanted to use one coupon per item and he refused!!!!! I was in shock that he would do that saying I could only use one coupon for the entire purchase when both the one on the app and my one paper copy would be working. It wasn't worth the fight with two kids and only two lines open. I am saddened by this Target. It has not met my expectations for what I have come to associate Target with. On a positive note, my interactions with associates on the floor have all been positive...

The lady heavy set women with gray hair growing in that works at the returns counter was the rudest employee I have ever encountered. I was trying to return duplicate items from my wedding registry and I approached the counter with a smile hoping she could help me with the return. From the start I handed her the receipt and she told me it wouldn't work, then was baffled when it scanned correctly. I asked her if she could pull up my registry on her end and with the biggest attitude she said "No but you can!", I was so caught off guard. All of her remarks towards me and my husband were so rude and sarcastic. I literally have no idea where it came from, if she was having a bad day but completely took out all her anger on us. She has no control of her emotions and should not be working at a Customer service counter. Me and my husband were having a date night and she completely ruined our mood. In general I love Target, but this particular store I am not fond of. It's the closest one to me so I shop at it often out of convenience, but this store (Boardman, OH location) could really use some cosmetic updates.

The store feels tired, despite the fact the merchandise is appealing. The bathrooms (at least the women's restroom) are filthy. The fixtures in the bathrooms (toilets, sinks, etc) are in obvious need of repair and/or replacement. Almost every time I've been in this bathroom there is trash on the floor and smears on the floor (or even toilets). The hooks in some of the stalls are broken.

Also to note, and I'm not sure if this happens at other Target stores, but beware of the "sale" price tags on merchandise. On more than one occasion I've found "sale" tags with WORSE prices than the regular price, and registers not ringing up the tagged prices. Check your receipts.

That being said, all the employees and guest services personel are super friendly and helpful. I've never had complaint in...
